Hazrat Khadija’s unique qualities
Hazrat Khadija had a noble character and good manners.
When Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) received the 1st revelation from Allah, he was
scared and came trembling to Hazrat Khadija asking her to cover him with a
blanket.
Hazrat Khadija comforted him by saying “Be happy, I swear by Allah that he will
never humiliate you: You join people’s relationships, you speak the truth, you
bear people’s burdens and help the destitute, and you look after guests”
Why did Hazrat Khadija entrust the prophet with her trade goods?
She was a beautiful widow and rich trader. She was known for her noble
character, wealth and good manners.
When she heard about the honesty and fair dealings of Hazrat Muhammad
(pbuh) and that he was known as “Ameen”, she asked him to go with her
business caravans to many countries like Syria, Egypt, Yemen. He agreed and
bought her back goods.
Hazrat Khadija was known as the Tahira because her noble
character
She was a beautiful widow and rich woman.
She passed away on the 11th ramadan at 64 years
Her house was called “house of hope and security”
She was the 1st wife of Hazrat Muhammad
She was impressed by his honesty and personality
