The Tragedy of the Common
Our demographic problem is not going better. Instead, it keeps growing and growing. However,
our globe is finite, and our resources are restricted. As a result, as the human population grows,
each person's portion of the planet must diminish. But what is going on now? Everyone
snatches whatever resources they can for themselves and their families. As a result, unbalance
is gradually becoming apparent in our society and, eventually, in our globe. We, as humans,
continue to do what we want rather than what we need: reproduce and satisfy our own
desires. We expand our demand for the earth's resources while refusing to give up even the
most trifling inconveniences. Essentially, the world's population is growing while its resources
are depleting. When we consider the generations to come, this is a tragedy in and of itself.
