I. Definition of Values

1. What are values?

o Principles or standards that guide a person's behavior and


decision-making.

o Reflect what is important to an individual or society.

II. Types of Values

1. Personal Values

o Examples: Honesty, patience, kindness.

o These guide individual actions and behavior.

2. Family Values

3. Social Values
