This article talks about the relevance of reproduction rights and health care of all women,
including women with disabilities. Many of the poor and low income women in the U.S are
denied access to safe and legal abortion. Women have been controlled throughout most of their
lives, such as in the work force and the right to have children or not should be left to women
since it is their bodies. This academic source will be a great help towards my paper because it
displays how women are treated unfairly when it comes to their own bodies.
Frieze, I. H. (1978). Women and sex roles: a social psychological perspective. New York.
This academic source is explaining the various roles of women in a psychological perspective. It
talks about the factors influencing marriage, motherhood, achievement and work, sexuality and
aging. This academic source will be a good resource for this paper on Women and Reproductive
rights since it outlines that various roles women have in society and what rights they have
according to the roles they are given.

This Ted Talk, by Leslie Cannold outlines how women are ashamed for having or wanting an
abortion. Women have a great amount of pressure when it comes to abortion since they are
constantly judged. A health administrative of a country seems to acknowledge abortion as a
“legacy of unutterable shame”. Administrative of countries are discriminating women all around
the world for abortion even though they could have got pregnant through rape. Shame stockers
are sending disrespectful messages directly to women who have had an abortion and to all other
women. This is a very useful source because it outlines the discrimination women feel from
others about abortion and shares the perspectives people have about abortion.
