THE INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS BELOW.
INSTALLING YOUR BRUSHES
Follow one of the two installation methods below.
Quick Install:
1 Open Photoshop.
2 Locate the .abr brush preset file in the folder
titled ‘Install These Files’.
3 Double click the .abr file to automatically
Double_Click_Me.abr
install it into Photoshop.
4 The brushes will appear in the Brushes panel
whenever the Brush Tool is selected.
Or
Manual Install: (use if Quick Install fails)
1 Open Photoshop.
2 Open the Brushes Panel Window > Brushes
(or Window > Brush Presets in older PS versions)
and click the fly-out menu in the top
right corner.
3 Select Import Brushes… then locate the .abr file
in the ‘Install These Files’ folder and click
Open to install.
4 The brushes will appear in your Brushes Panel
whenever the Brush Tool is selected.
INSTALLING YOUR DISTRESS PRESS ACTIONS
Take the following steps:
1 In Photoshop open the Actions Panel
(Window > Actions).
2 Click the fly-out menu in the top right
corner of the Actions Panel.
3 Choose 'Load Actions' from the list.
4 Locate and select the .atn file in the
‘Install These Files’ folder. Click Open
to complete the installation.
ORGANIZING YOUR BRUSHES
SET YOUR BRUSHES a
PANEL TO DISPLAY THE
BRUSH NAME, BRUSH TIP
AND BRUSH STROKE
This makes it super-easy to select

brushes by name (see below) or
stroke preview and size at a glance.
In your Brushes Panel (Window >
Brushes) click the fly-out menu
on the top right side of the
panel (a) and choose Brush Name
and Brush Stroke (b).
You can also adjust the size of
your brush preview using the
scale slider at the bottom of
the Brushes Panel (c).
BRUSH NAMES &
ORGANIZATION
Brushes are divided into groups with a few
naming conventions to help you select the right
brush for the job.
• Dividers:
Helps separate brush groups for easy
navigation and selection.
• Brush number:
1 to 14 (regular) 1 to 7 (natural) etc.
• Texture size:
SM, MED & LG.
• Texture Description:
Speckle, Grunge, Toner etc.
