My Summer Vacation
Last summer, I went on a great adventure with my friend, Sarah. We decided to visit a beautiful beach in California. Every
day, we woke up early to enjoy the sunshine. Sarah can swim very well, so she taught me how to surf. I tried to catch the
waves, and sometimes I fell, but I had a lot of fun!
One morning, we met a local surfer who gave us tips. He showed us how to balance on the board. I listened carefully and
practiced a lot. By the end of the week, I could ride small waves!
In the evenings, we relaxed on the sand and watched the sunset. We talked about our plans for the next vacation. I am
going to explore the mountains, and Sarah wants to visit a big city. Our summer was full of adventures, and I will always
remember the fun we had together.
On one of the days, we decided to explore a nearby town. We took a bus and enjoyed the scenery along the way. When we
arrived, we visited a small market that was full of handmade crafts. I bought a beautiful necklace for my sister, and Sarah
found a colorful beach hat for herself. We took lots of photos and enjoyed some delicious local food. I really liked the fish
tacos; they were the best I’ve ever had!
Another memorable moment was when we joined a bonfire party on the beach. We met new friends, and everyone shared
stories and sang songs. I can’t remember when I laughed so much! Sarah and I even roasted marshmallows and made
s'mores. It was a perfect night under the stars, and we felt so happy and free.
When our vacation ended, I truly didn’t want to leave. We packed our bags and took one last walk along the beach. I
promised Sarah that I would visit her again this year. As I looked at the ocean, I knew I would cherish these memories
forever. Summer vacations can be such wonderful experiences, and I can’t wait for our next adventure!
