A CVC word is a three letter word composed of a consonant + vowel + consonant. To

decode a word in CVC pattern, first, sound out the sound of each letter, next, blend the sounds

together to form the word. Finally, say the word fast.

Example: mad = m-consonant, a-vowel, d-consonant
