Research Conference 2024
I. INTRODUCTION
The 2nd Asia Multidisciplinary Research Conference 2024 brings together
innovative minds from diverse fields to foster collaboration and knowledge exchange.
Under the theme “Building Bridges: Integrating Diverse Disciplines for Asia’s
Progress,” this conference aims to create a platform for researchers, educators, and
practitioners to explore interdisciplinary solutions to pressing challenges in Asia. By
integrating perspectives from various disciplines, the conference seeks to promote
inclusive growth, sustainable development, and regional advancement.
II. OBJECTIVES
At the end of this activity, field study students can:
• encourage collaboration among researchers, educators, and practitioners from
diverse disciplines to address complex regional and global challenges;
• showcase groundbreaking research and innovations that combine insights from
multiple fields to drive progress in Asia; and
• align research initiatives with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals
(SDGs) to contribute to Asia's sustainable and inclusive growth.
III. NARRATION OF EXPERIENCE
The virtual conference began with a solemn doxology, followed by the Philippine
National Anthem and ASEAN Hymn. At 9:10 AM, Mr. Benjamin B. Aguenza, the
Conference Chair, warmly welcomed participants and presented the attendees. Dr. Manuel
Garcia introduced the keynote speaker, Dr. Amer Hani Al-Kassem, whose insightful
speech captivated the audience with global perspectives. This was followed by an
engaging open forum.
Clear instructions for paper presentations were provided by the Masters of Ceremonies
before participants broke for lunch. The afternoon resumed with a special message from
Dr. Jaime M. Jimenez, emphasizing research's role in addressing global challenges. Dr.
Cheng Kai Wah then delivered a compelling keynote on business and communication
trends, sparking further discussions during the open forum.
After detailed instructions for the next sessions and a refreshing break, winners were
announced, and certificates awarded. Atty. Marlon B. Raquel concluded the event with
heartfelt closing remarks, marking the end of a successful and enriching conference
