AUX Input for Jaguar X150 XK/XKR.

The X150 XK/XKR did not have an AUX input from the factory, however the software & hardware of the infotainment
system does support AUX, as this system is shared with the X250 XF. For the 2007-2009MY cars there is an automated
routine in the JLR SDD diagnostic tool, to enable the AUX. This function was made available for the dealer-fit accessory
called the Audio Connectivity Module. For 2010MY-onward cars this function was removed from SDD.
The AUX input is required when installing the Apple CarPlay & Android Auto kit, as there is no other means of bringing
the audio into the vehicle. The AUX input can also be used for other audio sources, like our Bluetooth Adaptor.
AUX wiring is included in the Apple CarPlay & Android Auto kits from oldjaguar.com, can also be ordered separately if
needed, contact info@oldjaguar.com for purchasing.
The AUX wires are connected at the grey connector, which plugs into the CD/Radio head unit.
Once activated in a 2007-2008 model, an additional audio source becomes available in the menu.
In 2009MY-onward cars the AUX is added to the Portable Audio menu.
