ٍ ‫ﻦ ﻋَ َﺬ‬
ِ‫اب ﻓِﻲ اﻟﻨﱠﺎر‬ ْ ِ‫ﻚ ﻣ‬ ُ ‫ب أَﻋ‬
َ ِ ‫ُﻮذ ﺑ‬ ُ ‫ َو‬،‫ﻞ‬
‫ َر ﱢ‬،ِ‫ﺳﻮ ِء اﻟ ِﻜ َﺒﺮ‬ ِ ‫ﺴ‬ َ ‫ﻚ ﻣِ ﻦَ ْاﻟ َﻜ‬ ُ ‫ب أَﻋ‬
َ ِ ‫ُﻮذ ﺑ‬ ‫ َر ﱢ‬،ُ‫ﺷﺮﱢ َﻣﺎ ﺑ َﻌْ َﺪه‬ َ ‫ﺷﺮﱢ َﻣﺎ ﻓِﻲ ﻫ‬
َ ‫َﺬا ْاﻟ َﻴﻮمِ َو‬ َ ‫ﻦ‬ْ ِ‫ﻚ ﻣ‬ ُ ‫ َوأَﻋ‬،ُ‫ﺧ ْﻴﺮَ َﻣﺎ ﺑ َﻌْ َﺪه‬
َ ِ ‫ُﻮذ ﺑ‬ َ ‫ْاﻟ َﻴﻮمِ َو‬
."ِ ‫اب ﻓِﻲ ْاﻟ َﻘ ْﺒﺮ‬ ٍ ‫َوﻋَ َﺬ‬

Asbahnaa wa 'asbahal-mulku lillaahi walhamdu lillaahi, laa 'ilaaha 'illallaahu wahdahu laa shareeka lahu, lahul-mulku' .77
wa lahul-hamdu wa Huwa 'alaa kulli shay'in Qadeer. Rabbi 'as'aluka khayra maa fee haathal-yawmi wa khayra maa
ba'dahu wa 'a'oothu bika min sharri maa fee haathal-yawmi wa sharri maa ba'dahu, Rabbi 'a'oothu bika minal-kasali, wa
.soo'il-kibari, Rabbi 'a'oothu bika min 'athaabin fin-naari wa 'athaabin fil-qabri

We have entered a new day and with it all dominion is Allah's. Praise is to
Allah. None has the right to be worshipped but Allah alone, Who has no
partner. To Allah belongs the dominion, and to Him is the praise and He is

MORNING DUA
Able to do all things. My Lord, I ask You for the goodness of this day and of
the days that come after it, and I seek refuge in You from the evil of this
day and of the days that come after it. My Lord, I seek refuge in You from
laziness and helpless old age. My Lord, I seek refuge in You from the
punishment of Hell-fire, and from the punishment of the grave

Ash-hadu ‘an laa ‘ilaaha ‘illallaahu wahdahu laa shareeka lahu wa ‘ash-hadu ‘anna
Muhammadan ‘abduhu wa Rasooluhu.

I bear witness that none has the right to be

worshipped but Allah alone, Who has no
partner; and I bear witness that Muhammad

DUA AFTER MAKING WUDU (1/2)

is His slave and His Messenger.”
 َ ‫ﺟﻌَ ْﻠﻨِﻲ ﻣِ ﻦَ ْاﻟ ُﻤﺘ‬
" َ‫َﻄﻬﱢﺮِﻳﻦ‬ ْ ‫"اﻟﻠﱠﻬُ ﱠﻢ ا‬.
ْ ‫ﺟﻌَ ْﻠﻨِﻲ ﻣِ ﻦَ اﻟ ﱠﺘ ﱠﻮاﺑِﻴﻦَ َوا‬
1. Allaahummaj'alnee minat-tawwaabeena waj'alnee minal-mutatahhireen.

O Allah, make me among those who turn to You in

repentance, and make me among those who are purified.

."‫ﻚ‬ َ َ ‫ أَﺳﺘ َْﻐﻔِ ﺮ‬،‫ﺖ‬

ُ ُ‫ك َوأﺗ‬
َ ‫ﻮب ِإﻟ َ ْﻴ‬ ُ ْ ُ
َ َ ‫"ﺳ ْﺒﺤَﺎﻧ‬
َ ‫ﻚ اﻟﻠﱠﻬُ ﱠﻢ َوﺑِﺤَ ْﻤﺪ‬
َ ‫ أ َ ْﺷﻬَ ُﺪ أ َ ْن َﻻ ِإﻟ َ َﻪ ِإ ﱠﻻ أ َ ْﻧ‬،‫ِك‬
2. Subhaanaka Allaahumma wa bihamdika, 'ash-hadu 'an laa 'ilaaha 'illaa 'Anta, 'astaghfiruka wa 'atoobu 'ilayk.

Glory is to You, O Allah, and praise. I bear witness that

there is none worthy of worship but You. I seek Your
forgiveness and turn to You in repentance.

Alhamdu lillaahil-lathee kasaanee haathaa (aththawba) wa razaqaneehi min .5
.ghayri hawlim-minnee wa laa quwwatin

Praise is to Allah Who has clothed me with

this (garment) and provided it for me,
though I was powerless myself and

Glory unto Him Who created this

َ ‫َـﺢ ﻟِﻲ أﺑْ َﻮ‬ ِ ‫ﺳ‬ ُ ‫اﻟﺴﻼ ُم ﻋَ َﲆ َر‬ ‫اﻟﺼ َﻼ ُة [ ] َو ﱠ‬ ‫ﺴـﻢِ ﷲِّ َو ﱠ‬ ْ ِ‫ﺑ‬

AAoothu billahil-AAatheem wabiwajhihil-kareem wasultanihil-qadeem minash-

shaytanir-rajeem, [bismil-lah, wassalatu] [wassalamu AAala rasoolil-lah] ,
allahumma iftah lee abwaba
rahmatik.

I take refuge with Allah, The Supreme and with His Noble
Face, and His eternal authority from the accursed devil. In
the name of Allah, and prayers and peace be upon the
Messenger of Allah. O Allah, open the gates of Your
mercy for me.

Bismil-lah wassalatu wassalamu AAala rasoolil-lah, allahumma innee as-aluka min

fadlik, allahumma iAAsimnee minash-shaytanir-rajeem.

In the name of Allah, and prayers and

Rabbi awziAAnee an ashkura niAAmataka allateeanAAamta AAalayya waAAala walidayya

waan aAAmala salihantardahu waadkhilnee birahmatika fee AAibadikaassaliheen

My Lord, enable me to be grateful for Your

favor which You have bestowed upon me and
upon my parents and to do righteousness of
which You approve. And admit me by Your
mercy into [the ranks of] Your righteous
servants.
Surah An-Naml - 27:19

DUA TO INCREASE BLESSINGS FOR PARENTS

 َ ‫ﺴﻨ ۭ ًَﺔ َو ِﻗﻨَﺎ ﻋَ َﺬ‬
ِ‫اب ٱﻟﻨﱠﺎر‬ َ ‫ﺴﻨ ۭ ًَﺔ َوﻓِﻰ ْٱﻟـ ﺎﺧِ َﺮ ِة‬
َ ‫ﺣ‬ َ ‫ﺣ‬
َ ‫َرﺑﱠﻨَﺂ ءَاﺗِﻨَﺎ ﻓِﻰ ٱﻟ ﱡﺪ ْﻧ َﻴﺎ‬
Rabbanaa ‘aatinaa fid-dunyaa hasanatan wa fil-‘aakhirati hasanatan
wa qinaa ‘athaaban-naar.

Our Lord! Give us in this world that which is good

DUA FOR GOOD

and in the Hereafter that which is good and save
us from the torment of the Fire

َ ‫وﻏﻠَ َﺒﺔِ اﻟﺮﱢ‬
ِ ‫ﺟ‬ َ ،‫ﻦ‬
ِ ‫وﺿﻠَ ِﻊ اﻟ ﱠﺪ ْﻳ‬ ِ ‫واﻟﺠُ ْﺒ‬
Allahumma inni a’oo-zu bika mi-nal-ham-mi wal-hazn, wa a’oo-zu bika mi-nal ‘aj-
zi wal-ka-sal, wa a’oo-zu bika mi-nal jub-ni wal-bukhl, wa a’oo-zu bika min gaa-
la-ba tid-daynee wa khah-rir-ri-jaal.

Oh Allah! I seek refuge with You from worry and

grief, from incapacity and laziness, from cowardice
and miserliness, from being heavily in debt and
from being overpowered by (other) men.

SAHIH AL-BUKHARI

DUA FOR WORRY, ANXIETY, DISTRESS.

DUA FOR CONTROLING ANGER

َ ِ‫ﺧ ْﻴﺮُ ْاﻟ َﻔﺎﺗِﺤ‬ َ َ ‫ﺎﻟﺤَ ﱢﻖ َوأ‬ ْ ‫اﻓﺘ‬
َ ‫َﺢ ﺑ َ ْﻴ َﻨﻨَﺎ َوﺑ َ ْﻴ‬
ْ ِ ‫ﻦ َﻗ ْﻮﻣِ ﻨَﺎ ﺑ‬ ْ ‫َرﺑﱠﻨَﺎ‬

Rabbanaf-tah baynana wa bayna qawmina bil haqqi wa anta Khayrul Fatiheen

Our Lord, decide between us and

our people in truth, and You are the

DUA FOR JUSTICE

best of those who give decision.
Surah Al-A'raf - 7:89

A’z’eem

Allah is sufficient for me. Laa ilaaha illa

Huwa (none has the right to be worshipped
but He), in Him I put my trust and He is the

 ‫ﺎﻟﻌِ َﺒﺎ ِد‬ ِ َ ‫ن ﷲﱠَ ﺑ‬
ْ ِ ‫ﺼﻴﺮ ٌ ﺑ‬ ‫َوأ ُ َﻓ ﱢﻮ ُض أ َ ْﻣﺮِي ِإ َﱃ ﷲﱠِ ۚ ِإ ﱠ‬

wa ufawwidhu amree ila Allahi innallaha baseerun bil ibaad

And you will remember what I (now) say to

you, and I entrust my affair to Allah.
Indeed, Allah is Seeing of (His) servants.

DUA TO TRUST ALLAH (2/2)

Surah Ghafir - 40:44
 ِ‫ﻹ ْﻛﺮَام‬
ِ ‫ل َوا‬ ‫ْﻚ ﱠ‬
َ ‫ ﺗَ َﺒﺎ َر ْﻛ‬،‫اﻟﺴﻼ َ ُم‬
ِ َ ‫ﺖ ﻳَﺎ َذا ْاﻟﺠَﻼ‬ َ ‫اﻟﺴﻼ َ ُم َوﻣِ ﻨ‬
‫ﺖ ﱠ‬ َ ‫اﻟﻠﱠ ُﻬ ﱠﻢ أ َ ْﻧ‬
.Allāhumma Antas-Salām wa minkas-salām. Tabārakta yā Zal-jalāli wal- ikrām

O Allah, You are As-Salam (Peace),

From You is all peace, blessed are You

Sunan At-Tirmizi
 ‫ِﺴﺎﻧ ِﻲ‬ ْ ِ‫ﺣﻠُﻞْ ﻋ ُْﻘﺪ ًَة ﻣ‬ َ ْ ‫ب‬
َ ‫ﻦﻟ‬ ْ ‫ﺴ ْﺮ ﻟِﻲ أ ْﻣﺮِي َوا‬ ‫اﺷﺮَ ْح ﻟِﻲ َﺻﺪْرِي َوﻳَ ﱢ‬ ‫َر ﱢ‬
‫ﻳَ ْﻔ َﻘ ُﻬﻮا َﻗ ْﻮﻟِﻲ‬

Rabbish rah lee sadree Wa yassir leee amree Wahlul ‘uqdatan milli saanee
Yafqahoo qawlee

My Lord, expand for me my breast (with

assurance) And ease for me my task
And untie the knot from my tongue That

DUA FOR PUBLIC SPEAKING

they may understand my speech.
Surah Ta-Ha Ayat 25-28
 ‫ﺳﻮاك‬
ِ ‫ﻦ‬
ْ ‫ِﻚ َﻋ ﱠﻤ‬ ْ ‫ِﻚ َﻋ‬
َ ‫ َوأ َ ْﻏﻨِﻨﻲ ﺑِ َﻔ ْﻀﻠ‬،‫ﻦ ﺣَﺮاﻣِ ﻚ‬ َ ‫اﻟﻠّﻬُ ﱠﻢ ا ْﻛﻔِ ﻨﻲ ﺑِﺤَﻼﻟ‬

Allaahumma akfini bi halallika ‘an haraamika, wa aghnini bi fadlika ‘amman siwaka

O Allah! Provide me with lawful (Halal)

livelihood, adequate to my needs
instead of the unlawful (Haram), and
make me suffice with Your graces

DUA FOR RIZK SUBSTENANCE

needing nothing from anyone else.

ٍ‫ﻻ َ ﱠﻣﺔ‬

U'izukuma bikalimatil-lahit-tammati min kulli shaytanin wa hammah, wa min kulli 'ainin

lammah.

I seek protection for you in the

ِ ِ‫ أ ْذ ﻫ‬، ‫ﱠﺎس‬ ‫اﻟﻠﱠ ﻬُ ﱠﻢ َر ﱠ‬
‫ﺳ َﻘ ًﻤ ﺎ‬َ ‫ﻻ َ ﻳُ َﻐ ﺎ ِد ُر‬

ALLAHUMA RABBAN-NAS, AZHIBIL-BA’SA, ISYFI WA ANTA ASY-SYAFI, LA SYIFA’A ILLA

.SYIFA-UKA, SYIFA-AN LAA YUGHADIRU SAQAMA

O ALLAH, LORD OF THE PEOPLE, TAKE AWAY

THE DISEASE. CURE HIM AS YOU ARE THE ONE
WHO CURES. THERE IS NO CURE BUT YOURS, A

‫ َوأ َ ْﺻﻠِﺢْ ﻟِﻲ آﺧِ ﺮَﺗِﻲ‬،‫ﺎﺷﻲ‬ َ َ ُ ُ ‫اﻟﻠﱠﻬُ ﱠﻢ أ َ ْﺻﻠِﺢْ ﻟِﻲ دِﻳﻨِﻲ اﻟﱠﺬِي‬
َ ‫ وأ ْﺻﻠِﺢْ ﻟِﻲ ُد ْﻧ َﻴ‬،‫ﻫ َﻮ ﻋِ ْﺼ َﻤﺔ أ ْﻣﺮِي‬

‫ﺎة زِﻳَﺎد ًَة ﻟِﻲ ﻓِﻲ‬ ِ َ‫ﺟﻌ‬ْ ‫ وا‬،‫اﻟﱠﺘِﻲ ﻓِﻴﻬﺎ َﻣﻌَ ﺎدِي‬
َ ُ
‫ﻦ ﻛﻞﱢ ﺷﺮﱢ‬ ْ ِ‫ﺣﺔ ﻟِﻲ ﻣ‬ ً َ ‫ت َرا‬ َ ‫ﻞ ْاﻟ َﻤ ْﻮ‬ َ ‫ُﻛﻞﱢ‬
ْ ‫ َوا‬،ِ‫ﺧ ْﻴﺮ‬
ِ َ‫ﺟﻌ‬

O Allah, make my religion easy for me by virtue of which

my affairs are protected, set right for me my world
where my life exists, make good for me my Hereafter
which is my resort to which I have to return, and make
my life prone to perform all types of good, and make
death a comfort for me from every evil.

DUA TO FIX ALL YOUR AFFAIRS

Prophet Muhammad ‫[ ﷺ‬RIYAD AS-SALIHIN 1472, MUSLIM]
 ‫ِﻚ‬ ْ ‫ﻮب ﺛَﺒﱢ‬
َ ‫ﺖ َﻗ ْﻠ ِﺒﻲ ﻋَ َﲆ دِﻳﻨ‬ َ ‫ﻳَﺎ ُﻣ َﻘﻠ ﱢ‬
ِ ُ ‫ﺐ ْاﻟ ُﻘﻠ‬

Yā Muqallibal-qulūb, thabbit qalbī `alā dīnik

O Changer of the hearts, make

my heart firm upon Your religion.

DUA AGAINST MISGUIDANCE

At-Tirmidhi 3522 Book 48, Hadith 153)

َ ‫ﻚأ‬ ‫ُﱠ‬ ْ َ ‫ﻚ َو ْاﻟﻌَ َﻤﻞَ اﻟﱠﺬِي ﻳُ َﺒﻠ ﱢ ُﻐﻨِﻲ ﺣُ ﱠﺒ‬َ ‫ﻦ ﻳُﺤِ ﱡﺒ‬ْ ‫ﺐ َﻣ‬
‫ﻚ َوﺣُ ﱠ‬
َ ‫ﻚ ﺣُ ﱠﺒ‬
َ ُ ‫اﻟﻠﱠﻬُ ﱠﻢ ِإﻧﱢﻲ أ َ ْﺳﺄَﻟ‬
َ
‫ﺴﻲ َوأﻫْ ﻠِﻲ َوﻣِ ﻦَ ْاﻟ َﻤﺎ ِء ْاﻟ َﺒﺎرِ ِد‬ ِ ‫ﻧ َ ْﻔ‬

Allāhumma innī as’aluka ḥubbaka wa ḥubba man yuḥibbuka wal-amalalladhī

yuballighunī ḥubbak. Allāhummajal ḥubbaka aḥabba ilaiyya min nafsī, wa ahlī wa
minal-mā’il-bārid

O Allah, indeed, I ask You for Your love and the

love of those who love You, and for the action
that will cause me to attain Your love, O Allah,

make Your love more beloved to me than
myself, my family and cold water
At-Tirmidhi 3490
 ‫ﻦ َوأ َ ْﺻﻠ ِْﺢ ﻟِﻲ‬ َ َ ‫ﺣ َﻤﺘ‬
ْ ‫اﻟﻠﱠ ُﻬ ﱠﻢ َر‬
ٍ ‫ﺴﻲ َﻃ ْﺮ َﻓﺔ ﻋَ ْﻴ‬ ِ ‫َﻚ أ َ ْرﺟُﻮ َﻓ َﻼ ﺗَﻜ ِْﻠﻨِﻲ ِإ َﱃ ﻧ َ ْﻔ‬
‫ﺖ‬ َ
َ ‫ﺷﺄْﻧ ِﻲ ُﻛﻠﱠ ُﻪ َﻻ ِإﻟ َ َﻪ ِإ َﻻ أ َ ْﻧ‬

Allahumma rahmataka arju fala takilni ila nafsi tarfata ‘aynin wa aslih li sha’ni kullahu
la ilaha ila anta

“O Allah, I hope for Your mercy. Do not leave

me to myself even for a blink of an eye.
Correct all of my affairs for me. There is

DUA WHEN DISTRESSED

none worthy of worship except You.
Hisn al-Muslim 123
 َ ‫ﻲ ﻣِ ﻦ‬
ٌ ‫ﺧﻴﺮ ٍ َﻓﻘﻴﺮ‬ َ َ ‫ب إﻧّﻲ ﻟِﻤﺎ أَﻧ َﺰ‬
‫ﻟﺖ ِإﻟ ﱠ‬ ِ ‫َر ﱢ‬

rabbi ʾinnī li-mā ʾanzalta ʾilayya min khayrin faqīrun

My Lord! I am indeed in need of any

good You may send down to me!

DUA FOR DESPERATION

Quran 28:24

َ ‫ﺧﻠَ ْﻘ َﺘﻨِﻲ َوأَﻧَﺎ ﻋَ ْﺒﺪ‬ َ ‫اﻟﻠﱠﻬُ ﱠﻢ أ َ ْﻧ‬
َ ‫ﺖ َرﺑﱢﻲ ﱠﻻ ِإﻟ َ َﻪ ِإ ﱠﻻ أ َ ْﻧ‬
.‫ﺖ‬ َ ُ ‫اﻟﺬﻧ‬
َ ‫ﻮب ِإ ﱠﻻ أ َ ْﻧ‬ ْ ‫ َوأَﺑُﻮ ُء ﺑ ِ َﺬ ْﻧ ِﺒﻲ َﻓ‬،‫ﻲ‬
‫ﺎﻏﻔِ ﺮ ﻟِﻲ َﻓ ِﺈﻧ ﱠ ُﻪ َﻻ ﻳَ ْﻐﻔِ ﺮُ ﱡ‬ َ َ ‫ﻚ ﺑِﻨِﻌْ َﻤﺘ‬
‫ِﻚ ﻋَ ﻠ ﱠ‬ َ َ ‫ أَﺑُﻮ ُء ﻟ‬،‫ﺖ‬ ُ ْ‫ﺷﺮﱢ َﻣﺎ َﺻ َﻨﻌ‬ َ ‫ﻦ‬ ْ ِ‫ﻣ‬

Allahumma anta rabbee la ilaha illa ant, khalaqtanee wa-ana AAabduk, wa-ana AAala
AAahdika wawaAAdika mas-tataAAt, aAAoothu bika min sharri ma sanaAAt, aboo-o laka
biniAAmatika AAalay, wa-aboo-o bithanbee, faghfir lee fa-innahu la yaghfiruth-thunooba illa
ant.

O Allah, You are my Lord, none has the right to be worshipped

except You, You created me and I am Your servant and I abide to
Your covenant and promise as best I can, I take refuge in You

DUA OF THE EVENING

from the evil of which I have committed. I acknowledge Your
favour upon me and I acknowledge my sin, so forgive me, for
verily none can forgive sin except You.

َ ‫ َو ِإ ْن أ ْر‬،‫ﺣ ْﻤﻬَ ﺎ‬ َ ‫ َﻓ ِﺈ ْن أ ْﻣ‬،‫ﻚ أ ْر َﻓ ُﻌ ُﻪ‬ َِ ِ َ ُ ْ‫ﻚ َرﺑﱢﻲ َو َﺿﻌ‬ ْ ِ‫ﺑ‬
. َ‫اﻟﺼﺎﻟِﺤِ ﻴﻦ‬ ‫َك ﱠ‬ َ ‫ﺤ َﻔ ُﻆ ﺑِﻪِ ﻋِ َﺒﺎد‬ ْ َ ‫ﺗ‬

Bismika rabbee wadaAAtu janbee wabika arfaAAuh, fa-in amsakta nafsee

farhamha, wa-in arsaltaha fahfathha bima tahfathu bihi AAibadakas-saliheen

In Your name my Lord, I lie down and in Your

name I rise, so if You should take my soul
then have mercy upon it, and if You should

DUA BEFORE SLEEPING

return my soul then protect it in the manner
You do so with Your righteous servants
