Some people believe that free trade benefits all consumers and fosters economic growth globally.
Personally, I entirely agree with this statement.
Firstly, Free trade gives consumers a wider range of choices and lower prices when shopping.
Consumers will have the opportunity to access products from many different countries, so they have
many options about quality, prices, and design. Free trade will create competition between domestic and
international markets, which will lead to reduce prices of products while improving product and service
quality and consumers can buy products at lower prices. Thereby it contributes to improving the quality
of life for many people.
Secondly, Free trade enhances economic growth globally. Global competition enforces companies
(cạnh tranh toàn cầu buộc các cty) to invest in research and development to maintain a competitive
advantage. These innovations help spur (thúc đẩy) economic growth and create new, more attractive
products. Free trade helps businesses access larger international markets and increase revenue from
exports. As revenue and market size increase, businesses can invest more in technology and labor,
promoting economic growth. Access to international markets helps promote new industries, thereby
creating job opportunities and improving income for workers.
In Conclusion, Free trade bring many benefits all consumers and contributes to global economic
development. However, to ensure sustainable and equitable development, countries need to support
workers and balance benefits between economic groups.
Many people argue that protectionist measures like tariffs, quotas promote economic development.
Although there may be some reasons supporting that idea, I believe it also has negative limitations that
impact economic development. I partly disagree with the statement.
On the one hand, the argument that protectionist measures help protect local business and trade
deficit reduction (thậm hụt kinh tế). Firstly, Protectionist measures can help develop new industries by
protecting them from international competition until they are strong enough to compete globally.
Secondly, Tariffs and quotas can reduce imports, help reduce the trade deficit it will not allow imports to
exceed exports, balance the trade balance ( cân bằng cán cân thương mại) by producing domestic goods
instead of use imported goods. From there, domestic industries can also develop strongly.
Nevertheless, I believe that it has negative impacts on economic development. The first reason is that
it reduces product variety (giảm sự đa dạng sản phẩm), for example, instead of importing 100 goods,
only import 80-90 goods depending on the import quota set by the government. That will reduce
consumer choice and leading to increased prices for consumers because domestic products may be
more expensive than imported goods. In addition, when one country imposes tariffs or quotas, other
countries may retaliate by imposing their own protectionist measures, leading to a trade tensions,
causing conflicts between countries. This could reduce global trade, hurt exporters and limit the
development of developing countries.
In conclusion, governments should consider carefully the benefits of protecting the domestic economy
and the risk of causing trade conflicts when applying these measures.
Sporting events have been organized globally to promote nationalism and bring people together.
However, there are opinions that these events are a waste of time and money. Personally, I entirely
disagree with this statement.
Firstly, sporting events help people can promote patriotism and community engagement (gắn kết
cộng đồng). It creates national pride (niềm tự hào dân tộc) and cohesion, promote the spirit of national
solidarity (tinh thần đoàn kết dân tộc) and friendship between countries. These events create
opportunity for people from different countries, cultures to meet, cultural exchange and share with each
other. Athletes become role models(hình mẫu lí tưởng), inspiring young people participate in sports and
practice a healthy lifestyle. Furthermore, Sports events also help viewers feel excited and reduce stress,
especially sports enthusiasts.
Secondly, through sporting events also bring many benefits to the country’s economic development.
Sporting events attract millions of visitors around the world, creating large revenue from hotels,
restaurants, and retail. Not only that sporting events help enhance country’s image and reputation in the
international arena (danh tiếng trên thị trường quốc tế), attracting investment and cooperation in the
future. In addition, these events help promote sports development, improve the quality and athletes'
ability to compete.
In conclusion, sporting events not only promote patriotism and bring people together but also
expand opportunities for national development. Sports events are worthy and meaningful investments
(là khoản đầu tư xứng đáng và có ý nghĩa) for both countries and the global community.
It is true that some parents are refusing to get their children vaccinated. Personally, I entirely disagree
with this view.
Vaccination is an important measure to protect public and individual health. The vaccine has been
researched and demonstrated to be effective before being used. Firstly, vaccines help protect children
from dangerous infectious diseases such as flu, rubella, measles, polio, and whooping cough.
Furthermore, inoculation helps prevent diseases from spreading. When people are injected with a
vaccine, infection rates will decrease and protect people who can not get vaccinated due to health
problems.
When many people don’t get vaccinated, diseases can return, causing outbreaks. That will be
decreased herd immunity and the rapid spread rate (tốc độ lây lan nhanh) will dangerous to the health
of many people, especially children and the elderly. Children’s health not good can spread diseases
easily, if they are not got vaccinated, they will not have antibodies to fight the virus and the disease may
become more complicated. When virus spread widely, it has many opportunities to mutate (đột biến )
and create new strains (biến chủng mới). These mutations can spread faster, be more dangerous and
may even be resistant ( chống lại ) to current vaccines, making it difficult for control the epidemic (kiểm
soát dịch bệnh).
Vaccination is very important to protect public and individual health. Therefore, the government,
schools, and health care need to disseminate ( phổ cập) knowledge about vaccination issues, call on the
community to join hands to support and carry out vaccination to ensure safety for everyone.
It is true that some people say that university education is the only way for a young person to have a
better life in the future. Personally, I completely disagree with this view.
Firstly, the labor market changes very quickly, many new jobs constantly appear due to technological
and economic development. This means some new careers don't require the college degree they need to
practical skills and ability to adapt quickly. Many people after graduating from university still move to
another field because of passion or better opportunities. This shows that a degree does not ensure long-
term success and that flexibility in learning new skills and adapting to the market demands is also
important.
Secondly, many people feel they are not a good fit for the traditional college environment. Some
people learn better in a hands-on environment, where they can learn through practical experience
instead of theory. For instance, Vocational training (đào tạo nghề) can provide them the skills and
experience needed to succeed in their chosen field. Furthermore, higher education can be expensive for
some people, the financial burden (gánh nặng tài chính) can cause stress and tension leading to health
and learning impacts.
In conclusion, university education brings many benefits for learner but to have a better life in the
future is not only base on the university but also depends on many others factors. Therefore, we need to
clearly understand our own purpose and determine what you want.
