1. IT Operational Support
Configure user laptops/desktops for domain setup and application
access.
Install and manage antivirus and endpoint protection tools.
IT asset management, including inventory tracking, procurement, and
disposal.
Handle ITSM tickets for user issues (hardware/software/network).
Provide support for basic office productivity tools (e.g., MS Office,
Google Workspace).
Troubleshoot and resolve printer/scanner issues.
Coordinate with vendors for hardware repairs or replacements.
Manage user accounts (Active Directory, email setup, and access
rights).
Conduct IT onboarding for new employees, including hardware
issuance and training.
2. Network Management
Configure and maintain LAN, WAN, VLAN, and wireless networks.
Manage ISP connections, monitor bandwidth usage, and ensure
uptime.
Oversee passive cabling management (structured cabling, patch
panels).
Perform regular network health checks and resolve connectivity issues.
Monitor and troubleshoot firewall rules and security configurations.
Ensure network redundancy and failover mechanisms.

3. Server Management
Manage and maintain the Nutanix setup, including backups and
disaster recovery.
Configure and update Windows/Linux servers for applications and
services.
Perform patch management and system updates to ensure
compliance.
Monitor server performance, storage utilization, and uptime.
Manage user authentication systems (e.g., AD, LDAP).
Regularly back up server data and ensure secure recovery
mechanisms.
Manage email gateways and spam filtering tools.
MES - Activities
1. MES Development
Develop and customize MES solutions for customer-specific
requirements (e.g., Google, Moto, Acer).
Integrate MES systems with customer production workflows and
databases.
Coordinate with customers to ensure compliance with manufacturing
standards.
2. MES Support
Provide ongoing support for ODM-provided MES systems (e.g., MI,
Oppo, BCIL).
Test and deploy MES updates and patches.
Troubleshoot MES-related issues and ensure minimal downtime.
3. MES Line Support
Configure MES client software for production line devices.
Provide application-level support for MES tools.
Maintain and troubleshoot MES client hardware (e.g., scanners,
printers).
4. MES Line Printing Support
Configure and manage label printers used in production lines.
Troubleshoot printer issues to minimize production delays.
Monitor and manage consumables for line printing.
Corporate (Dixon Technologies) - Activities
Common Services Provided by HO
Email administration (Google Workspace) and user account
management.
SAP support for finance, production, and supply chain modules.
HR application (Darwinbox) user support and access management.
Planning application support for forecasting and scheduling.
Analytics and dashboard development for key business metrics.
Incident and problem management for HO-driven services.
Information Security Roadmap
Act as Group CISO to oversee the implementation of global security
policies.
Collaborate with corporate IT to define security guidelines.
Drive user awareness campaigns on security best practices (e.g.,
phishing prevention).
Perform internal audits and ensure compliance with corporate security
standards.
Oversee vulnerability assessments and penetration tests.
Padget-Specific Information Security Role
Introduce a Security Specialist role at Padget with the following activities:
Implement and enforce security policies provided by corporate IT.
Conduct regular audits to ensure adherence to security practices.
Monitor and report on security incidents within Padget plants.
Manage endpoint protection solutions and ensure regular updates.
Roll out role-based access control (RBAC) policies across systems.
Coordinate with HO to implement advanced security tools (e.g., SIEM,
DLP).
Manage physical security controls for IT assets at Padget plants.
Lead the response to security incidents and collaborate with HO for
resolution.
Plant-Wise Responsibilities
Each plant should have IT and MES personnel with localized responsibilities:
IT Operations
Provide on-site user support for hardware and software issues.
Ensure network availability for manufacturing systems and MES.
Perform daily system health checks and backups.
Respond to ITSM tickets raised by plant employees.
MES Support
Provide immediate MES line support for production issues.
Manage line printer configurations and troubleshoot downtime.
Implement and test customer-specific MES updates at the plant level.
Security
Enforce plant-level security controls as per corporate policies.
Monitor physical access to server rooms and IT equipment.
MIS & Continuous Improvement Activities
Generate monthly IT and MES performance reports for all plants.
Conduct root cause analysis for recurring IT and MES issues.
Identify and document process improvement opportunities.
Develop dashboards for tracking ticket resolution times, system
uptimes, and compliance metrics.
