India has witnessed a great diversity of faith and

religion from the
earliest times, but this has not interfered with the
peaceful pursuit
of the ways of life of different sections of the
country. But nowadays
situation is changing. There is fear not only from
externalinstability
but also from internal instability from fanatics and extremists.
In this situation, National integration is an essential condition
for any nation which wants to keep itself safe & secured and to
ensure communal harmony by understanding the socio-cultural,
religious, linguistic and geographical diversities. Communal
harmony is the most important pre-condition for feeling of Unity
and National Integration in India. From time immemorial, it has
been seen that different races fought battles against each other on
Indian soil and got themselves firmly entrenched, but India has
assimilated them all into her blood. And the responsibility lies
on the
young generation whose contribution in total populao

Role of Communal Harmony in Promoting National

Integration in India
National integration becomes an essential condition for any
nation who wants to ensure communal harmony in the nation
by understanding the socio-cultural, religious, linguistic and

more necessary. As we know, India is a very large country and we

The principal goal of the government is the larger vision
to develop a society with safety, security, just, equitable and

should feel that he/she is a victinm of an unjust, iniquitous society. This
is the ideal we have to strive towards, to re-establish harmony

FACTORS RESPONSIBLE FOR FOSTERING NATIONAL

Education and Youths

that most aspirations are common to mankind. It should
instill
awareness and appreciation of not only an individual's cult an
heritage but also an awareness and appreciation of the cultiral
heritage of the 'Others. It should give us
knowledge ourselves
of
as individuals and by extension of those around us. It should
produce liberal 'thinking persons as well as cultured and wise
persons who can understand their limitations and can learn rom
those who transcend these limitations. Education should
produce
persons with respect for 'Others' so that the persons who seek to
learn the Wisdom' distilled from previous generations and from
those of learning and wisdom in their society and the world - at -
large. It helps to understand the distinction between rhetoric and
truth facts and it would help us reconcile the
duality we see
in everything around us and appreciate the whole the concept of
reconciling the opposites. It is the key to achieving harmony in
any society which can transform us into an 'Ethical nation', from
one that is built on
expediency.
Youths and Good Careers & Employment
A good career is one of the most important mobilizing factors
related to youths. Youth would be able to keep themselves
motivated only if they have financial stability in life, suces cess
