Nikola tesla

Born on July 10, 1856 in Smiljan, and raised in the Austrian Empire (now Croatia), Tesla completed his
education in engineering and physics in the 1870s at the Graz University of Technology. He worked in
the field of telephony in the early 1880s and at Continental Edison in the electric power industry. He
moved to the United States in 1884 and became a citizen there. He worked for a time at Edison
Machine Works in New York City, then decided to leave. With the help of his colleagues for financing
and marketing his ideas, Tesla set up a laboratory in New York to develop various wooden and
mechanical devices. His induction and alternating current motors, and his alternating polyphase
system patents were licensed by the Westinghouse Electric Corporation in 1888.

In the 1890s, Tesla attempted to develop wireless lighting and wireless electric power distribution in
high-frequency power experiments in New York and Colorado Springs. In 1893, he said that it was
possible to carry out wireless communication with a device he made. Tesla tried to make it a reality
with the Wardenclyffe Tower project, a transcontinental wireless communications and power
transmitter, but he ran out of funds before he could complete it.

I am interested in the dedication and contribution of Nikola Tesla because he is one of the most
influential figures in the history of science and technology. He is known for his contributions to the
fields of electricity and magnetism, including the invention of the AC electric generator, the AC
electric motor, and the transformer. His innovations have formed the basis for much of the modern
technology we enjoy today.
