I am interested in applying for your summer internship. As an individual that comes from a very different place with very different cultural and religious background, I know I could definitely bring more to the table. The fact that I am also very social yet independent, spontaneous yet cautious and always willing to learn and know more would also be a positive attribute to your company. I feel that your company offers the foundations that I need to open my own company someday. This internship would also increase the chances for me to work for you in the future, which is something I hope is possible. I decided to major in Advertising because I believe in doing something I love and also in being good at what I do. I like watching different commercials and coming up with my own slogans and quotes and what I enjoy doing more than that would be critiquing the commercials. My goal is to connect consumers to products/services that they may or may not be aware they like, need, want or even exists. I would honestly say I am my worst critic, and as a bit of a perfectionist, I feel one's work should always be flawless. I have been studying advertising, marketing and media planning for the last three years and I would love to put all the theories to use. I know I can be successful and can contribute a lot to your company though I may lack the experience. Because what I lack in experience I make up as an energetic, hard working, honest, creative and punctual person. I once heard in a movie, that one should see something as a whole and not in parts but I believe it is the parts that make the whole and it is the parts that matter the most. So when given a task, I like to break it into little pieces and then later join all of it to make it whole. What I hope to learn from your company is to make those pieces stronger, better and bigger. I want to be pushed to the edge to see what I am capable of and I know that your company is the push that I need. To be able to be a part of an international company leader in consumer knowledge and insights would surely grantee a bright and successful future for me. Hoping to hear from you soon.
