Inviting application for Courses in Nationally Recognized Educational Institutions

Guidelines to apply for Vidyasamunnathi Scholarship Scheme for students from

Economically Backward Family among Forward Communities in the state of Kerala :- :
 Applicants should belong to non-reservation categories of Kerala state .
 Applicants must do one time registregistration in the website www.kswcfc.org and thereafter
create a profile using the username and password obtained via sms received in the
registered mobile number during the registration.
 Application for scholarship scheme should be submitted after creating the profile.profile
 Fresh Application should be submitted for respective year.
 The annual family income of the applicant from all sources should not exceed an
amount of Rs.4,00,000/

 Annual family Income certificate should be in the name of a person (applicant, Father,
mother, guardian) included in the ration card containing the applicant applicant.(Individual
income will not be considered)
 Name of the student included in the ration card should be produced (Pages 1&2).
 Applications should be submitted online. While submitting the online application,application the
documents required for the respective scholarship should be scanned and uploaded
along with the application.
 As there is no renewal of the scholarship , those who have received the scholarship in
previous years should also apply afresh.
 Applicants must possess an active account in any branch of nationalized / scheduled
bank to avail the scholarship.

 Final beneficiary list is prepared subject to availability of funds and by giving priority
to the low income group. Disbursement of scholarships is subject to availability of
funds from Government.
 Scholarship amount will be credited only to the bank account as specified in the
application which should be held in the name of applicant .Applicants

 The process of submitting application should be carried out with extreme care ,as even a
minor error in the online application may lead to rejection of the application.
 Only certificates submitted in the format provided on the website will be accepted.
 Applications with incomplete ,,wrong information and unclear documents will be
rejected during verification. Any further complaints in this regard will not be
entertained.
 A maximum amount of Rs. 50,000 5 ,000 per student for an academic year will be re re-

(excluding mess fee) on the basis of certificate in the prescribed format from the
concerned education institution and corresponding original fee receipts.
 Those who avail other scholarships /stipends from the Central / State tate Governments
aree not eligible to apply for this scholarship. If it is found that false information in this
regard has been recorded in the application, the available scholarship amount shall be
 repaid along with 12 % compound interests. The student there after will be ineligible to
apply for the scholarship.
 The corporation's decision on awarding the scholarship will be final. Appeals in this
regard will not be entertained.
 SMS will be sent to the mobile number given in the application form to those
applicants, who are selected for the scholarship. Only the students who receive the
SMS should submit copy of online application, original fee receipt and required
documents to the address “ Kerala State Welfare Corporation for Forward Communities
Ltd, L2, Kuleena, Jawahar Nagar, Kowdiar P.O, Thiruvananthapuram” within the
prescribed time limit. The certificate from the institution should specifically contain
the actual amount spent by the student for Course/Tuition fee, Exam fee & Hostel
fee (excluding mess fee) for the current academic year.
 On top of the envelope in which the application is submitted, it should be mandatorily
written as ‘’Application for Vidyasamunnathi Scheme (2024-25)”.
 The last date of submission of application is 20/01/2025.
