GRATITUDE
I would like to express my sincere gratitude to adventiste health
center of bertoua for providing me with the opportunity to complete my
internship with them. I am thankful for the warm welcome, support, and
guidance I received my stays 🙏.

We completed our internship at the medical center adventist of


bertoua during the period of 1st January 2025 to the 1st February 2025.

During my internship, I gained knowledge and skills. I worked on


projects and collaborated with the team to achieve the internship goals.

INTRODUCTION
I am pleased to present this report which summarises my
internship experience at the adventist health center of bertoua during the
period of 1st January 2025 to 1st February 2025. This internship allowed
me to put into practice some theoretical knowledge gained during my
studies and I developed some professional skills in the field.

This report will present the activities I carried out and observed
during my internship, the skills I acquired and the conclusions I drew from
my experience.
CHAPTER 1 : DESCRIPTION OF THE
INTERNSHIP. SITE
1.1. GEOGRAPHICAL LOCATION OF THE INTERNSHIP
SITE.
Located in the Eastern Regions of Cameroon, Lom and
Djerem Department of Bertoua, a 1 health center District, Mokolo 1 health
area. The CEMAB covers a population of approximately 3,570 inhabitants
from the EKOMBITIER and YADEME neighbours. It is bounded to the North
by the 3rd degree chieftain of EKOMBITIER, to the south by the delegation
of the posts and telecommunications to the East by the gendarmerie
region, and to the west by the municipale hall of Bertoua 2eme.
1.2. HISTORY AND DESCRIPTION OF THE HOSPITAL
CENTER.
 History ;
The Bertoua Adventist Medical Center ( CEMAB) was
founded on January 2nd 2020 by the East federation of
Adventist churches . Initially led by senoir nurse MARAC
LANDRY, the centre recruited a doctor in November 2020.

SUGGESTIONS
3.1. DIFFICULTIES FACE
 Lack of patient
 Not all the services where the school send where
available in this hospital ( pediatric unit, Emergency unit
etc)

3.2. SUGGESTIONS
 They should permit the intern to administer care.
 They should should provide personal protective equipment for
cleaning after work or during the service ( e.g desinfection supply ,
appropriate gloves).
 I kindly request that the administration should well inform their self
on the different internship site before sending us.
 I would be extremely grateful if the school could provide us with the
opportunity to complete on additional two weeks intership at a
busier health center so that we can achieve our objectives.
3.3 CONCLUSION
In conclusion, I am disappointed to report that I have not achieved 2% of
my objectives during this internship. I am frustrated by this outcome and
hope to learn more next internship.
