REPORT ON COVID-19

Introduction
COVID-19 ; caused by the SAIDS-COVID-19 VIRUS, energy in
late 2019 in China and rapidly spread worldwide ,leading to
global pandemic .The virus primarily affects the respiratory
system and has caused signification health ,economic and
social challenges.
Transmission and symptoms
COVID-19 spreads primarily through respiratory droplets
from on infected person when they weight, sneeze , or talk .It
can also spread via contact with contaminated
surfaces .Common symptoms include fever ,cough ,fatigue
and loss of last or smell .Severe cases may lead to pneumonia
,actute respiratory distress ,or even death ,particularity in
olderadults or those with undertying health conditions.

Global impact
The pandemic has had profound impact?
1)Heath system : Hospitals and health care workers faced
immense strain due to the high number of cases.
2) Economy : Lockdowns and restrictions disproted
industries ,trade ,and employment .
3-Eduction : school and university adopted remote learning
significant impacting students worldwide .

4-Mental health : isolation , uncertainly and loss of loved


ones contributed to increased anxiety and depression

Preventive measures

1-Wearing masks in public ,

2-Regular hand washing and use of hand sanitized,

3-Maintaining social distancing ,

4-vaccination campaigns to reduce the severing and


spread of the virus .

Vaccination and treatments

Multiply vaccines such as those by Pfizer -BeonTech ,


Moderna and Astrazeneca ,were developed to combat
the virus . Antiviral medications , Mono clonal
antibodies ,and supportive care have been used to
threat patients .

CONCLUSION
Covid- 19 highlighted the importance of global
cooperation in addressing health crises . While vaccines
and preventive measures have helped control its
spreads ,continued vigilance and investment in health
care essential to prevent future pandemics .
