“ Miniature Pippi Doll “

Required Materials
1.Yarns
For The Small Doll : ( Basic Colours) Leylak Suni Ipek 4-ply thread Skin
Colour (1108) , Cream (3002), Brown (1805) , Red for Hair ( 1787),Light Blue
(3042) , Bright Green (1855) , Orange (08)
(For Cream Dress) : Cream (3002) ,Red( 1616), Dark Blue (44)
(For Green Tshirt): Light Green (67) , a little bit orange and cream for
patches.
( Leylak is a local brand in Turkey. You can use Yarnart Canarias or no:50 lace
yarn in any brand which is available in your country.)
For The Big Doll : Leylak Suni Ipek 9-ply embroidery thread. Colour codes are
same as the smallest one. ( Leylak is a local brand in Turkey. You can use Yarnart
Violet or no:10 lace yarn in any other brand which is available in your country.
PS:Also, you can use any type of yarn.The only difference will be the size of the
finished dolls. But if you want to make a miniature doll same size as mine , you
must use this type of threads.
2.Hooks
For the small one i use 0.50 mm , for the big one i use 0.75 mm hook. (. Please,
keep in mind that the hook size should be changed for your yarn choice.)
3.Safety Eyes
For the small one 2.5 mm , for the big one 3 mm.
4.Sewing Needle
5.Fabric Glue
6.Alluminium Wire 1.5mm (about 5-6cm) (for putting neck)
7.Blush

>>>The size of the finished doll when using the indicated materials are
about 5.5 cm for the small one, 10 cm for the big one.
>> NOTE: Please,keep in mind that you can change the finished doll size
with using the original pattern. If you use thick yarn and bigger hook your
doll will be bigger than mine.

Arms
Crochet in skin colour. Do not stuff the arms with fiberfill.
1. Chain 2, make 6sc in the first chain. (6)
2-13. 6sc.
Legs
Start with Brown colour.
1. Chain 4, starting from the second chain; 2sc, 5sc in the same chain, keep
crocheting on the other side of the chain 1sc, 1 inc(10)
2. 1sc, 1inc, 1sc, 4inc, 2sc, 1inc (16)
3. (BLO) 16sc
4. 16sc (16)
5. 4sc, 4dec, 4sc (12)
6. 4sc, 2dec, 4sc (10)
7. (BLO) 10sc (10)
8. Change Brown colour into green 2sc,1dec,3sc,1dec,1sc

9-13. 8sc ( 5 rounds)
14. Change green colour into skin colour (BLO) 8sc (8)

18. Change skin colour into cream (BLO) 8sc. Cut the yarn,
fasten off, weave the ends.
Second Leg:
1-7. Crochet same as the first leg.
8.Change Brown colour into orange 2sc,1dec,3sc,1dec,1sc (8)
9-10. 8sc ( 2 rounds)
11.Change orange colour into skin colour (BLO) 8sc (8)
12-17. 8sc ( 6 rounds)
18.Change skin colour into cream (BLO) 8sc (8)
Do not cut the thread. We will continue to crochet body . But, before to crochet
body we will make the details of boots and socks.
Boots ( Footing) : Turn the upside down and tie the Brown colour
into the FLO stitches in 3. Round.
Make 16 sc around.
Boots (Upper Part) : Attach Brown colour
into the FLO stitches in round 7.
1. (1sc, 1inc) *5 (15)
2. 15sc.
Socks Details:
Attach the green yarn for the first leg to the FLO stitches in round 14 and make sc
around. (8)
Attach the orange yarn fort he second leg to the FLO stitches in round 11 and make
sc around. (8)
Now we can continue to crochet the body.
Body
Keep crocheting with cream yarn.
We will connect the legs with 12 chain. Chain 12.
1.8sc on the first leg, 12 sc on the chain, 8 sc on the second leg, 12 sc on the
chain.(40)
2. 40 sc
3. 1dec in each side of the body, there must be 2 dec in the row. (38)
4. 1dec in each side of the body, there must be 2 dec in the row. (36)
5. 1dec in each side of the body, there must be 2 dec in the row.(34)
6.1dec in each side of the body, there must be 2 dec in the row. (32)
7.1dec in each side of the body,there must be 2 dec in the row. (30)
Make some extra stitches for making the colour change on the side of the body.(I
made +2 extra stitches. This number can change the yarn type or tension.)
8.Change cream yarn into skin colour (BLO) 30sc (30)
9-14.30sc (30)
Now we will add the arms on each side of the body. ( Please , keep in mind that the
arms must be the correct place. If it is necessary please make some extra or
less stitches for finding the right place.) Please, use the photos for getting help.
15.1sc on the arm and body together, 15sc on the body, 1sc on the arm and body
together, 13sc on the body. (30)
16.5sc on the first arm, 15 sc on the body, 5sc on the second arm, 13sc on the
body.(38)
Stuff body while crocheting.
17.1dec in each side of the body, there must be 2 dec in the row. ( 36)

Make some extra stitches for reaching the middle back side. Cut the yarn by
leaving a long tail for sewing.
Now we will crochet the dress.
Cream Dress
Start with cream yarn.
1.Chain 28, slst in the first chain.

Now we will make the arm holes.
13.19sc, skip 15 stitches, 18sc,skip 15 stitches, 1sc (38) .Make +6 extra stitches and
here is the new beginning of the row. Now, put the dress on the doll. We will
continue to crochet the dress on the doll. If you do not do this, you can’t put the
dress on the doll after finishing the dress.
14. 1inc in each side of the dress, there must be 2 inc in the row.(40)
15.Change colour into dark blue 1inc in each side of the dress,there must be 2inc in
the row.(42)
16.Change colour into cream 1 inc in each side of the dress, there must be 2inc in
the row.(44)
17.1inc in each side of the dress,there must be 2inc in the

Now we will crochet the arms of the dress.
Attach the cream yarn on the back of the
arm hole.

Green Dress
1-24. Crochet by using the same instructions as the cream dress.
Patches on the Dress:
Make 1 cream and 1 orange.
1. Chain 6, start with the second chain and make 5sc, ch 1 , turn
2. (BLO) 5sc, ch1, turn
3. (BLO) 5sc.
Head
Start with skin colour.

>> If you use safety eyes, insert them between 13 and 14 rows in the distance
with 4-5 sc. Please keep in mind that the parts we make increases and
decreases must be the front of the face.( I suggest you to stuff a little
fiberfill before inserting the eyes so you can see the cheeks and you can
insert the eyes in correct places. )
Also, embroider the whites of eyes before insert the safety pin.

Ears
Crochet in skin colour.
Leave a long starting yarn tail. ( It can help you while
sewing the ear.)
1. 5sc in MR. Cut the yarn by leaving a long tail for
sewing.
Embroider eyebrows and the mouth. Then , sew the head to
the body. I insert an electric fibre in the neck. You can get
some help from the photos.
Hair
Crochet with red colour.
1.6sc in MR. (6)

Now we will maket he strands.
6-8.Ch41,from the 2nd chain, 40sc, (BLO) slst to the next
stitch.
9-17. Ch16, from the 2nd chain 15hdc, 1sc to the next stitch.
18-20.Ch41,from the 2nd chain,40sc, (BLO) slst to the next
stitch.
21-27.Ch9,from the 2nd chain 8hdc,skip 1 stitch (BLO) 1sc.Cut
the yarn by leaving a long tail for sewing.
Now we will crochet the upper part of the hair. Attach the yarn to the right
side of the wig. Please, use the photos for getting help.
1-2.Ch20,from 2nd chain, 19hdc,slst to the next stitch.
3-7.Ch 8,from the 2nd chain,7hdc,skip 2 stitches,1sc.
10-11.Ch 20,from the 2nd chain,19hdc,slst to the next stitch.Cut the yarn by
leaving a long tail for sewing.(or you can glue the hair on the head.)
Sew or glue the pigtails so that they stick out the sides.
Scarf
Crochet with light blue colour.
1.Ch6,from the 2nd chain,5dc,ch2,turn
2.5dc,ch2,turn.
3-37.Repeat row 2. ( You can crochet as long as you want.)
Then cut some threads like 6-7 cm and attach them to each short side of the
scarf.
Finishing Touches
Emroider sholaces with light Brown thread.
Tint the cheeks and nose with blush.
