Job title General Manager – Accounts & Taxation (Senior Management Role )

Roles & Responsibilities

 Preparation of Accounts under IndAS & IFRS.


 Manage multiple accounts; develop positive working relationships with all inter departmental
stakeholders
 Drive the Day to day accounting entry closures related to AR, AP, Admn ETC
 Work closely with Associate Account Managers and Admin on Operations on day-to-day
operational processes
 Work Closely with Finance & Banking department to get updated on day to day banking activities
that require closure of accounting process and ensure compliance
 Partner with internal cross-functional teams like Sales, Purchases, Operations, Finance & Banking
to understand key performance metrics and exceed expectations
 Leverage the ERP system in place to ensure completeness in Accounting, MIS, and Audit
requirement processes
 Adhere to established processes and workflows, including Maker, Checker, Authoriser and
Approver levels and ensure compliance
 Wherever required to provide inputs on any extraordinary transactions and obtain concurrence
from President and the ED's approval
 Ensure completeness in preparation of various schedules related to INDAS Audit, IFRS Audit,
Cost Audit and Other regular Monthly Quarterly Half Yearly Review audits that happen in the
system related to OPGPG & GPIPL
 Focus on maintaining Accuracy, and transparent accounting to ensure timely reporting including
Management reports and Audit reports
 Submit analytical reports to Management highlighting areas requiring attention.

Qualification

Post Graduate in Commerce / Business Management / Inter CA / CMA / CA /CMA Finalist


Experience

 15+ Years of Experience in a similar position in a manufacturing Industry. Nature of Industry is


not a constraint
 Hands on experience in accounting under IndAs & IFRS
 Knowledge of Companies Act & Income Tax
 Experience of working in ERP environment
 Dynamic personality able to effectively engage and influence the team positively
 Confident communication (written and oral) skills and a demonstrated ability to work
collaboratively with all levels of internal and external organizations
 Ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities, balancing requirements internal and external
 Passion to grow and ensure team building
 Strong Analytical Skills is a pre-requisite for the role
