WARNINGS
My finished figure is only for decoration and is not a toy. It contains small
pieces and is not suitable for small children and animals.
With the stated yarn and crochet hook the egg measures about 15 cm.
(without floppy legs and ears)
The size also depends on how tight or lose you crochet. If you use another
yarn as stated, you have to match the size of your crochet hook accordingly
to the yarn size and also the amount of yarn balls, whereby the size can also
vary.

THE ASSEMBLY OF THE EGG
Now sew both finished halves of the egg (part 1 with the inner part and part
2) together. Turn both parts inside out so you can see the back loops in more
detail and you won’t sew on part 1 the wrong way around. (picture 7) Sew
part 2 and part 1 with the inner part together halfway, using the tail of the
inner part. Pierce through both loops of the inner part and through the visible
BLO of part 2. (picture 8) Turn outside again (picture 9) and continue sewing
until one third remains open. Stuff the egg in shape. Finally finish sewing, and
stuff if it is necessary.
P. 7 P. 8 P. 9
EMBROIDER BUNNIES’ FACE in rose and cream
Embroider a nose with yarn in rose centrally to the eyes from round 7 to 8.
The nose (above round 7) extends on the upper side across three stitches, the
tip of the nose (below round 8) is only in one stitch. Use picture 10 for
guidance.
Embroider a line with yarn in cream from the tip of the nose to round 10,
behind the spikes of the eggshell. (picture 10)

Now I fixed the spikes with hot glue to the inner part. You can use fabric glue
either. Stick that row, where you crocheted in the FLO, completely. Then, pull
the spikes in shape and stick them with only one drop in the middle of the jag.
It is easy to work in the area behind the spikes that way.
Fix the spikes of the chicks’ egg directly after the assembly.
RABBIT EARS (bunny) (each 2x)
Ear
Crochet in continuous rounds with a 2 mm crochet hook and in brown.
1. 6 sc in MR (6)
2. [1 sc, 1x inc.] 3x (9)

18. [2 sc, 1x dec.] 3x (9)
19. – 20. 2 rounds with 9 sc (= 18 in total)
Fasten off. Leave a long tail for sewing. Do not stuff the ear. (picture 11)
Inner ear
Crochet in continuous (oval) rounds with a 2 mm crochet hook and in cream.
1. Chain out of 4 ch + 1 tch (4)
2. From the 2nd ch of the hook: 1x inc., 2 sc, 3 sc in 1,
continue on the other side of the ch: 3 sc (10)
Fasten off. Leave a long tail for sewing. (picture 11)
Sew the inner ear to the ear between round 5 and
10. (picture 11)

Insert a pipe cleaner into the ear before sewing, so it can stand easily and
you can bend it in shape afterwards. Bend the pipe cleaner in a loop and cut
it with 1 cm overlap. (picture 12) Insert the overlap into part 1 before sewing.

Now crochet the floppy leg:
You can vary the length at your discretion by crocheting more or less ch. Pay
attention: there is always one less sc than ch!
I crocheted as follows:
1. Chain out of 15 ch (picture 17) (15)
2. Attach the chain by crocheting 1 sl.st centrally to the foot between

Let’s continue with the chick!
The complete EGG (part 1, inner part and part 2, also the assembly) is
crocheted and worked identically to the bunny’s egg.
Beak (chick)
Variant 1: (which I chose for my chick)
Crochet in rows with a 2 mm crochet hook and in orange.
1. Chain out of 1 ch + 1 tch (1)
2. From the 2nd ch of the hook: 1 sc, 1 tch, t (1)
