being friends and being lovers... And it can also go miles towards eliminating those ambiguous resentments
and seemingly trivial annoyances that plague so many couples.
Fortunately there is a simple and direct solution:

reason why is that those masculine ideals that we grew up with are ideals for impressing other men.
More specifically, those characters were crafted with the highest level of expertise by the highest paid
writers in Hollywood to appeal to the #1 movie ticket-buying audience:
Teenage boys.
But the woman you want? She probably has very little in common with teenage boys. And that brings us to
The Cowboy.
The iconic Cowboy is everything that MEN admire. He's a fearless, rugged, tough guy with easy confidence
in any situation, and he can kick anyone's ass with a lightning-fast draw of his trusty six gun.
But... he doesn't really spend a lot of time around the women-folk.
The Cowboy's got every kind of confidence other than sexual confidence.

And sure, as a matter of strange fate, he ends up with the hottie in movies, but that's actually in spite of his
complete lack of masculine polarity with her. He's usually kind of awkward around sexuality and she has

with his awkwardness and inability to make them feel like a woman.
In fact, in virtually every aspect of his relationships with women he misunderstands how to create and
