Narrator: In a world where sound reigns, one girl’s voice is silenced.

(Narrator speaks as the scene opens with Khezyl writing songs in her notebook, tears streaming down her
face.) Meet Khezyl a deaf girl with a song in her heart, but a world that refuses to listen.
(A secene where Khezyl is having a fight with her sister)

Natasha: If only di kana lang nabuhay then hindi sana magkakandeletche-letche ang buhay na meron kami
right now! All you did since that day was to bring shame to our family.
(Then she slaps Khezyl to her face. Khezyl was never able to respond because of the fact that she’s deaf)

Khezyl: (SIGNING) I’m sorry. Why can’t they/you see? Why can’t they/you hear?

Natasha: (SIGNING) Arrghh!!! Get lost!!

Narrator: Khezyl left unwillingly with tears in her eyes rushing down to her face, and goes to her room.
Narrator: Khezyl was one involve in a car accident that cause her to lose the sense to hear and to speak that
made her deaf. Ever since that tragedy her family doubts her, her friends mock her, and her dreams shattered
and becomes impossible. Even so there are still people who khezyl she believes will always believe in her
and accept her.
(Scene at school: Where Khezyl is being bullied)

John Carlo: Hey deaf girl, balita ko pangarap mo maging song writer…, like gi___rl seriously!?

(Khezyl did not pay attention and because of being deaf she only stared at him but one thing she’s sure about
is that John Carlo is bullying him.)

John Carlo: Hoy! Kinakausap pa kita, wag kang bastos.! You’ll never be a songwriter Khezyl, you’re deaf!
…OOoops Dika nga pala nakakarinig, pity you WHAHAHA.

(Gerald entered the room)

John Carlo: What do you think your doing?

Gerald: STOP. BEING SO. IMMATURE (Gerald and Khezyl left the room)

Narrator: Gerald is the Best friend of Khezyl since childhood. They’ve been always close together until the
accident happen. The accident happen when Gerald invited Khezyl to go out for a trip but never expected for
the tragedy happen. Since then Gerald always feels it was his fault why Khezyl have to go through with
everything that’s why he takes care of her.
(Scene: Gerald and Khezyl talking)

Gerald: Your okay? (SIGNING)

Khezyl: Nod 3x (SIGNING) Yeah, Im okay.

Gerald: (SIGNING) I passed my audition. I’ll be competing for the final.

Khezyl: Really? That’s.. great then (SIGNING)

Gerald: (SIGNING) Yeah

Narrator: Before the accident occurred Gerald had always known that Khezyl dream to be a songwriter one
day and is that she really had the talent for this, the reason why Gerald and Khezyl become close is because
they share the same dream just happened that Gerald never had the talent to become one and Khezyl will
always be better. With the kindness of Gerald it is also filled with insecurities and he always feel inferior
towards Khezyl not only that there’s also another reason that is something that should never be known.
(Scene: While Gerald is walking alone, one of his best friend rush towards him filled with rage.)

Gerald: Anong problema!?

Brayden: Ikaw! Anong problema mo!? How could you do that to her!!!?

Gerald: What the-!

(A sound of book that is fell in the ground that gets the attention of the two, it is khezyl, she saw the two best
friends fighting each other that makes her shock. After Gerald saw Khezyl he decided to walk away. Khezyl
look at Brayden with her puzzled face and Brayden decided to tell everything to Khezyl.)

Brayden: I have something to tell you. (He drags Khezyl to talk to her.)

Narrator: Brayden learned about the secrets of Gerald and he also learned that it is related to Khezyl.

Brayden: (Wrote in the paper) I know this is sudden and I don’t to do anything to break the bond between
you and Gerald but I think you should know the truth.
(Kheyzl tilt her head looking confused.)

Brayden: Gerald stole the songs that you wrote, I saw the songs that you wrote and it’s similar with the song
he pass for the competition.
(Khezyl, walk looking so angry and when shes alone she started crying so heavily. )

Narrator: Two days after the fight it is now the day for the finals of the competition where Gerald joined in.
While waiting in the backstage waiting for the announcement of the winner Gerald seems anxious and feels
bothered. He always think about the day where he and Brayden fought and was already expecting for some
things to happen when.

Brayden: Gerald (With low tone and not only him but Khezyl also came to see Gerald.)

Khezyl: (SIGNING) Is it true? You stole my songs. You crushed my dreams. (Tears started to flow.)

Gerald: (SIGNING) Forgive me Khezyl.

Brayden: I told her everything, I just can’t keep quiet about it.

MC: And the winner for the championship of the Song Writer of the Year goes to,… Gerald Offeciar!
Congratulation please come to the stage and receive your trophy! Again Gerald as the champion of the
songwriter of the year. Any Speech you would like to share?

Gerald: I know this is sudden but I would like to ask for your forgiveness because I decieve you. All the
songs that I submitted, hindi ako ang nagsulat nang mga kantang iyon. Isinulat ito ng isang matapang na
babae kung saan sa kabila nang lahat ay kaniyang pinatunayan na siyay matatag at kahit kailan hindi
nagpakita nang kahinahan. (Everyone was left in shock.) (SIGNING) Khezyl its yours. (Offering the
trophy)

Narrator: Khezyl’s melody pierces the silence, and her voice is finally heard. (Audience are applauding)

Khezyl: (SIGNING) Thank you…..for hearing me

Narrator: The story of a girl who weren’t able to speak its feelings is finally heard by everyone. The song
