POLICE STATION
Design Considerations:
 Public Access should not conflict with prisoners' passageway
 Public Desk / Counters should be within a reasonable distance from the
building entrance to avoid public confusion
 Offices and Work Areas performing essentially the same tasks should be
grouped so as to achieve maximum use of physical facilities
 Impounding Area should be at the rear of the main building with a smooth
access way to exit
 There should be a provision for Outdoor Assembly Area
 Exterior design must reflect an atmosphere of restrained dignity,
permanence, security, beauty and strenght. The style is MODERN
CONTEMPORARY and EXTREME
 Maximize use of Natural Lighting and Ventilation

Site Description:
The site comprises two lots beside each other, newly consolidated
and situated along a corner thoroughfare with the following dimension:
 Lot 1A: 32 meters by 80 meters, the shorter side bounded by a minor road.
 Lot 1B: 80 meters by 65 meters, the longer side facing the 16 meter major
road.
