Around 8 years of experience in Automotive Product Designing.
Good knowledge on CATIA across various modules like 3D Part modeling, surface
modeling, Assembly, Drafting.
Design & Development of Plastic components (Interior & Exterior Trims) surfacing,
and Sheetmetal components (BIW), Knowledge in Automotive Lighting design.

Responsibility:
Responsible for understanding the customer requirements i.e. Design Input ( A Surface,
Master Section, Surrounding Data, PPT, Tooling Direction) which is needed to start work
i.e. received from client.
Based on the request of the customer. We will provide different proposals.
Execution of the generated final engineered surface Class A into a 3D model considering
the factors of Product development, so as to avoid all the plastic defects such as sink
marks, steel blades, flow leader, voids & ensuring Draft clearance.
Checking the part for any sort of interference using the Clash & Sectioning tool in Space
analysis tool bar.
Discuss with the R&D PTM team regarding manufacturing process. If they need any
changes, we will change the design after the approval of the customer.
Conducting meetings with optical team, rheology simulation team, vibration analysis team
if they raise any request, we will change the design by the approval of customer.
Finally, the model checked in to the PLM and delivered to the customers.
Caresoft Global Pvt Ltd, Pollachi| Design Engineer, (July 2017 to April 2018)
Project Involved: Tesla X, Chevrolet Bolt EV (Front Fascia, Rear Fascia, Cockpit
components, Door Panel, Center Console (Assembly), Instrumental panel
(Assembly), Glove Box Cover, Head Linear, Fender Linear).
Responsibility:
Study of Class A surface by checking Curvature Analysis and Draft Analysis
Creation B surface as per part requirement
Master section generation for the Door trims, Pillar trims, Luggage side trims, Console
with respected surrounding BIW panels.
Draft analysis of plastic parts considering main tooling direction, Slider/Lifter
Concept generation & design feasibility of Interior trim parts.
Benchmarking with same segment Vehicles.
Modifications in the bumpers and their counterparts based on tooling feedback,
