Employee Benefits
Period Leave
Zomato's Period Leave Policy has been designed to give our female and transgender
employees the necessary time off to cater to their health when needed, during their
menstrual cycle. Eligible zomans can avail up to 10 days of period leaves in a year.

Health and Fitness


At Zomato, we believe it's important to focus on one's health. Our in-house fitness
coaches and nutritionist focus on creating a healthier work environment for all.

No Probation and Notice Periods


There's no probation period for anyone who works with us at Zomato. Additionally,
we do not require zomans to serve notice periods.

Medical Coverage
All zomans (including spouse and children) are covered under an extensive health
insurance policy. In India, we also issue a Practo Membership to all zomans.

Paternity and Maternity Leave


For men and women at Zomato, we offer 26 weeks paid leave. This policy also
applies to non-birthing parents, and in cases of surrogacy, adoption, and same-sex
partners.

In-house Wellness Support


We all experience challenging situations in our lives. To manage these stressors and
concerns, both at a personal and professional level, one can always reach out to our in-
house team of counsellors.

In-house Creche
We have an in-house creche in our Gurgaon office and have partnered with day cares
in other cities.

Flexi Benefits
Our flexi benefit plan enables zomans to modify the components of their
compensation based on benefits such as newspaper and periodical allowance, leave
and travel allowance, vehicle running and maintenance, telephone bill expenses, etc.
Zomato Employee Code of Ethics

Employees of Zomato are expected to adhere to and uphold the highest standard of
ethics and integrity. This includes acting in accordance with our core values and the
below listed policies at all times.

Zomato employees are prohibited from using their employee status to solicit
discounts, freebies, or special treatment at restaurants. Unless visiting a restaurant for
official business, Zomato employees are to refrain from identifying themselves as
employees of Zomato.

All Zomato employees in client facing roles including but not limited to Sales, Sales
Support, Neutrality, Media Content and Client Servicing across all transaction/
business/function at Zomato are prohibited from writing reviews and/or giving ratings
for dine out experiences on Zomato from either their personal or Zomato accounts.
They are also not permitted to influence others to write biased reviews or give ratings.

Zomato's review and photo moderators are required to always act in favour of keeping
Zomato a neutral platform. They are required to use their best judgement in
implementing moderation guidelines and are prohibited from giving preferential
treatment to restaurants. Deleting any authentic review from a restaurant page is in
violation of our policies. Similarly, keeping reviews, which are proven to be
unauthentic, is in violation of our policies.

o Zomato does not advertise in newspapers. They use social media applications,
job portals and their own site where you click on the link provided and you
directly fill in any job application which matches your profile if available at
that time.
o Their hiring routes include referrals, building an effective network on social
media channels, and word of mouth.
o They use social media a lot to spread the word that we're hiring.
o Job portals often work well when hiring large teams.
o LinkedIn and Facebook have been great for them in terms of connecting with
the right people.

Talent Management Practices


o Align individual goals with organisational goals and effectively keep a track of
it.
They think of keeping everyone's eyes on the price (compensation + bonus
