ABOUT A pioneer in medical and health sciences since 1982, VMRF-
DU has expanded to imprinting its mark of excellence on
VMRF other disciplines including law, engineering, management,
arts and sciences, and public policy. Spread across four
campuses in Salem, Chennai, Puducherry, and Karaikal,
VMRF-DU has been recognized for its contribution to
education through a university-wide NAAC “A” Grade post
the conferment of university status in 2001 vide Section 3
of the UGC Act, 1956.

VMLS OF THE FUTURE
With the founding vision of creating the law school of the future, VMLS admitted its first
cohort of students in 2021. Mentorship from India’s finest law school, Jindal Global Law
School, and a committed team of full-time faculty members, many of whom are trained in
globally renowned institutions, have resulted in pedagogic innovations at VMLS that make
it a frontrunner in equipping learners with the skills, knowledge, exposure, and
specializations required for professional success in the AI age. The state-of-the-art
infrastructure, including smart classrooms, a well-stocked library with a strong digital
backbone, and a regal moot court hall, support in this endeavour by creating the ambience
for our students to immerse in the vibrant campus life. VMLS prides itself in its focus on
inclusivity and providing bilingual support so that no learner is left behind.

Vinayaka Mission’s Law School is unique in not only its vision – excellence through
inclusivity, and a steadfast emphasis on digital futures and global transitions – but also its
governance model. We are the first Indian institution to be mentored by another private
law school, arguably India’s finest at that – the Jindal Global Law School, and Jindal Global
University, an institution of eminence. The active Mentoring Committee created under this
one-of-its-kind mentorship agreement consists of eminent senior lawyers and
distinguished academics, who steer VMLS toward its goals and vision.
Vinayaka Mission's Law School is proud to
collaborate with Jindal Global Law School (JGLS),
O.P. Jindal Global University, to offer its Second to
Fourth-year students an exceptional opportunity
to participate in the Student Immersion Program*.
This intensive three-week program is designed to
provide students with a comprehensive and
immersive experience of studying law at JGLS.
Held annually, the program allows aspiring legal
minds to explore diverse areas of law, gain
exposure to JGLS's dynamic academic
environment, and experience its global
perspective on legal education. This initiative
reflects Vinayaka Mission's Law School's
commitment to equipping its students with the
knowledge, skills, and international outlook
needed to excel in the legal profession.
By participating in this program, students will have the chance to broaden their horizons,
enhance their academic and professional development, and take a significant step toward
becoming globally competent legal professionals.
