Role Description
This is a full-time role as an Associate- Investor Relations & Capital Markets at Capital Stack
in Chennai. We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team
as an Associate. As an integral part of our dynamic financial services firm, the candidate will
play a crucial role in supporting the execution of various financial transactions, conducting
thorough financial analyses, and contributing to the development of strategic
recommendations for our clients.
Location: Chennai
Expected CTC- 9-12 lakhs (fixed plus variable linked to performance). This is subject to
negotiation based on the candidate’s experience, skills, and fit for the role.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Financial Analysis:
Perform in-depth financial analysis, including financial modelling, valuation, and due
diligence, to support Capital Raising, M&A transactions and other financial advisory
services.
Analyze and interpret financial statements, industry reports, and market trends to
provide insightful recommendations.
2. Transaction Execution:
Assist in the preparation of pitch books, information memoranda, and other
presentation materials for investor meetings.
Work closely with senior team members and assist investor management in the
execution of capital raising transactions, mergers and acquisitions, and other financial
transactions.
Coordinate due diligence processes, manage data rooms, and liaise with clients and
other stakeholders.
Assist with investor inquiry responses and data requests, ensuring timely, accurate
and consistent communication.
3. Market Research:
Conduct comprehensive market research to identify potential investment opportunities
and industry trends.
Stay abreast of market developments, regulatory changes, and economic indicators
affecting the financial industry.
Qualifications
Preferably CA / Master’s degree in finance / business administration
Can be a fresher or with 1-2 years of work experience
Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with proficiency in financial modelling and
valuation techniques.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
Prior internship or work experience in investment banking, finance, or a related field
is preferred.
Requirements:
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
Knowledge of financial databases and tools.
Understanding of financial markets, investment strategies, and valuation
methodologies.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
