● DUTIES AND JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
JOB DISCRIPTION:
● Implementing Company HSE manual through various programs.
● Conducting safety Induction program & daily Tool Box Talk meeting with workers.
● Monitoring safety and work condition such as unsafe acts and
conditions and coordinating to engineers to rectify the same.
● Ensuring that first aid material is always available at site.
● Provision of proper firefighting facilities and conducting training of fire extinguisher to all
workforce.
● Conduct various inspections such as labor welfare facility, scaffolding,
excavations, cranes, working at height, stores etc. and reports &
recommendations shall be forwarded to line management.
● Ensure all PPF available in site and wearing all the staff and workers.
● Preparing and arranging signboards at site.
● Ensuring regularly updating Site Notice Board.
● Ensure all personnel on site are working in a clean and healthy environment.
● Maintain clean ablution facilities, toilets, urinals, sinks and drinking water areas.
● Conducting regular Toolbox Talks on Day Shift and Night Shift, keep records of all
Toolbox Talks conducted with signatures/thumb prints.
● Demarcate all walkways and cranes areas with placing safety signage’s
● Maintaining relevant safety signage across the site.
● Provide solid edge protection at openings, slab edges and excavations.
● Close all opening in the slab/core-wall areas/staircase areas.
● Fixing safety nets and maintaining it and Ensuring Fire extinguishers are placed
at potential fire hazards.
● Practical Fire Fighting, fire ground operations and rescue techniques.
● Active and Passive firefighting system, fire hydrant ,sprinklers, fire extinguisher, smoke
management ,fire detection, alarm system and fire exit requirements.
● Planning and conducting mock emergency evacuation drills
● Designing of Safety training programs on various safety aspects and Imparting Training
/ Practical Demonstration
● Periodic inspection of occupant's area regarding fire & safety equipment’s, installations
and other safety measures.
● Formulation of emergency response team to assist occupants in case of emergency.
● Maintenance and updating of safety log books as per ISO.
● Regular firefighting training to Building Services staff.
● Conducting Evacuation Drill of the Building.
● Routine testing and maintenance fire alarm and detection system, firefighting
equipment, firefighting installations (Fire sprinklers, hydrants and Pumps) and smoke
management system.
● Ensure the readiness of firefighting equipment installed in the premises,
preparedness and firefighting compatibility of all occupants, employees, and
workers.
● Ensure regular inspection of fire alarm system, fire extinguishers and firefighting
systems, lifts/elevators etc.
● Practice, and implement policies to prevent fire incidents in the premises.
● Responsible for incident investigation - examining fire scenes gathering
information's, Analyzing data regarding to fire causes, collecting evidence
etc.
