The Internet has changed our world entirely in recent years. There are,
undoubtedly, so many advantages of the Internet that I can mention.
● Firstly, social media - one of the internet's products - has proved its
role by making it easier for people to chat, call, text and connect
with each other from a very long distance, as long as there's an
internet connection. While traditional ways of communication like
letters or faxes take days, months or even years to get to the
receiver, social media has officially wiped out the distance and
made everything happen with just a few clicks.
● The internet has also made it possible for people to collaborate and
work together on projects, breaking down geographical barriers and
enabling people to contribute their skills and knowledge from
anywhere in the world.
● Last but not least, the internet also makes it possible for learners
and lecturers to connect via virtual classrooms. Thanks to the
internet, during those terrible quarantine times of Covid-19, we still
have an effective tool to study and gain more knowledge.
● Finally, the Internet provides new forms of entertainment. The
Internet gives everyone access to an endless supply of
entertainment, with access to watch videos, watch movies, listen to
music, and even play games online.
In short, the invention of the Internet is one of the greatest revolutions to
the world

● First, surfing the internet can cause internet addiction. There is
plenty of data to surf with more and more bad information uploaded
on the internet every second; and spending more time surfing
the internet also means a decrease in work and study
productivity.
● Second, the internet is not a safe place. The more time you spend
on the internet, the easier for the hackers to find and steal your
personal information by various means.
● Last but not least, the internet also becomes a reason that leads to
depression / mental health problems as many people tend to
compare their lives with others on social networking sites. Not
to mention, by a virtual world created on social media, people
could be disconnected to the real world and waste time on the
internet.
● Internet addiction causes many physical health problems like bad
vision, obesity( overweight) since people lack physical activities

In conclusion, using the internet could bring some disadvantages.

In short, the Internet is important too. I spend most of my time using the

5. Smartphone spoils a child / disadvantages of using
computers / computer games are dangerous

concentration and get addicted to it. it might make them spend too
much time on the phone, leading to bad study performance and bad
behavior.
Secondly, smartphones cause many health problems. Spending too
much time using the phone, they can not have more time for outdoor
activities. Without being physically active, they will get weaker and
weaker, which leads to some health problems like obesity, bad vision.
Then they will find it difficult to join good activities
Finally, smartphone makes the child get obsessed with the
violent and aggressive content of videos. smartphones make
children live in the virtual world, they forget to live in the real world,
always thinking about the unreal things, in the games or videos.
Although smartphones help a child relax or contact parents, it has
many disadvantages. it does more harm than good.
