Role Title- Software Engineer
Purpose of Role
Apply widely agreed software engineering principles and methodologies to design, develop, test
and maintain applications and services to achieve the stated business and technology goals within
required budgets and timelines
The role also entails contribution to project-critical requirements, as a maximum of 30%
occupancy of the role, in any other areas of the Software Development Lifecycle.
Roles & Responsibilities
Liaises with engineers, architects, business analysts and other key stakeholders to understand the
objectives and requirements
Delivers a lasting solution or code within cost and time estimates of the project
Develops high-volume, high-performance, high-availability applications using proven frameworks
and technologies
Develops software that is amenable for greater automation of build, release testing and
deployment process on all environments
Delivers software components to enable the delivery of bank platforms, applications and services
Writes unit and integration tests, within automated test environments to ensure code quality
Responsible for work quality, ensuring it meets the technical standards for all services output
Continuously invests in learning technology and software development best practices at Natwest
Participate in and complete all the mandatory technical/domain/behavioral/e-learnings organized
by the India Technology Academy, from time-to-time.
Understand the business that the role is part of and invest to deep dive in the domain learning for
the respective project.

Degree: ME/MTech ( Final Year) & BE/BTech (Final year)

XIIth : minimum 70%
