NARRATOR: Once upon a time there was a little princess called Snow White.
NARRATOR: She was white as the snow. Her lips were red as blood. And her hair was black
as night.
NARRATOR: She lived in a palace with her father and her stepmother.
NARRATOR: Every day, the queen looked in her magic mirror and asked:
QUEEN: Mirror, mirror on the wall, who’s the fairest of all?
MIRROR: You, my Queen! You are! You are the most beautiful of all.
NARRATOR: Little Snow White became a beautiful young lady. Everybody loved her.
QUEEN: Mirror, mirror on the wall, who’s the fairest of all?
MIRROR: My Queen, you are beautiful, it’s true! But Snow White is more beautiful than
you.
NARRATOR: The Queen was furious.
QUEEN: Take Snow White deep into the forest… and kill her!
HUNTSMAN: But… Your Majesty! The beloved Princess!
QUEEN: Kill Snow White! An take out her heart!

SETTING: CASTLE – WOODS – DWARFS’ HOUSE

NARRATOR: The huntsman took Snow White deep into the woods.
HUNTSMAN: Forgive me, my Princess… I have orders from the Queen to kill you! But I can’t
do that!
SNOW WHITE: Oh, good man! I’ll run into the forest and I’ll never come back!
NARRATOR: Snow White ran and ran through the dark forest.
NARRATOR: She was so scared!
NARRATOR: Then, she found a little house. She went in.
NARRATOR: A little table was set for dinner: seven little chairs, seven little bowls, seven
little spoons…
NARRATOR: Seven little knives, seven little forks, and seven little mugs.
NARRATOR: Snow white was hungry and thirsty.
SNOW WHITE: I’ll have a little bread from each bowl. And I’ll drink a little juice from each
mug.
NARRATOR: Then, she lay down on one of the seven little bed and fall asleep.
NARRATOR: When she woke up in the morning and saw the seven dwarfs.
DWARFS: Who are you?
SNOW WHITE: My name is Snow White.
NARRATOR: She told them the whole story about the wicked Queen.
DWARF 1: Princess Snow White, you can stay.
DWARF 2: Can you help us cook and clean?
SNOW WHITE: Yes! I can cook and I can wash. And I can make beds.
DWARF 3: Please, remember:
DWARFS: Don’t open the door to strangers! The Queen will find you.

NARRATOR: At the Palace, the Queen asked her magic mirror.
QUEEN: Mirror, mirror on the wall, who’s the fairest of all?
MIRROR: My Queen, you are beautiful, it’s true! But Snow White is more beautiful than
you. In the mountains she stays and she is still alive and well.
NARRATOR: The Queen was furious!
QUEEN: I will kill Snow White myself!
NARRATOR: She made a deadly potion and put it in a beautiful red apple.
NARRATOR: The Queen, dressed in old clothes, went to the little house in the mountains.
OLD LADY: APPLES! JUICY APPLES! APPLES FOR SALE!
SNOW WHITE: I’m sorry, madam. I can’t open the door to strangers.
OLD LADY: Oh, I’m just and old woman! Open the window and take one apple.
NARRATOR: Snow White opened the window, took the apple and had one bite.
NARRATOR: She fell dead to the floor!
OLD LADY: Now, I’m the most beautiful of all. Ha, ha, ha!
NARRATOR: Back at the Palace, the Queen ran to her magic mirror.
QUEEN: Mirror, mirror on the wall, who’s the fairest of all?
MIRROR: You, my Queen! You are! You are the most beautiful of all.
NARRATOR: The wicked Queen was happy now because the magic mirror never lied.

SETTING: CASTLE – QUEEN’S ROOM – DWARFS’ HOUSE - MOUNTAIN
CHARACTERS:

NARRATOR: The Seven Dwarfs found Snow Wite dead on the floor.
NARRATOR: In her honour, the made her a glass coffin and place it on top of a mountain.

NARRATOR: One day, a young Prince saw the coffin and fell in love with Snow White.
NARRATOR: He knocked on the coffin and suddenly Snow White came back to life.
NARRATOR: Snow White and the Prince had a big tea party.
SNOW WHITE: Let’s invite everyone to the celebration!
NARRATOR: Even the Wicked Queen was there.
NARRATOR: The Wicked Queen choked with envy and hate.
NARRATOR: She fell dead to the floor. Snow White and the Prince lived happily ever after.
