Specific: Make goals as specific as possible. Example: “I will have a 2.0 cumulative GPA by the
end of fall semester”.
Measurable: Make your goal measurable. Example: “I will study 1 hour per day for History”.
Achievable: Set goals you can achieve. Look at your goal and see if you can achieve it such as
can you actually achieve a cumulative GPA of 2.5 or not? And if not, then re-evaluate it and
change the goal to be achievable.
Realistic: Be honest with yourself and know your abilities.
