Surprise Birthday Celebration
Today we will talk about the surprise celebration of a great friend, her name is Angie,
who normally works from Monday to Saturday at a bank in the cashier area, but right
now she is resting at home since it is Sunday and she is enjoying her birthday day
at home in a relaxed way. She hopes that her birthday will be better than the previous
ones because she already has better friends than before. She says that we are more
generous, grateful, more affectionate and respectful than her previous friends from
years ago, they never showed her affection like we did.
We decided to prepare a surprise birthday celebration for her at her parents' house.
His parents happily accepted, since their house had enough space for all the guests.
We discussed how many chairs and tables would be needed to accommodate
everyone, as well as how much food and drinks should be prepared to ensure no
one felt left out. We also planned how many decorations, such as balloons and
banners, would be ideal to create a perfect festive atmosphere. Their parents helped
with preparations, and friends contributed ideas, gifts and snacks. The house
became a lively and welcoming space where everyone enjoyed themselves. A
playlist of their favorite songs added a cheerful touch to the celebration, and games
were organized to entertain both children and adults. Everyone took photos to
capture the beautiful memories of the day.
All of us decided to buy and bring a special gift to the birthday celebration, for
example, Tania brought piñatas, Carlos brought soda, Mary brought the cake, Juan
brought the food and I made the decoration, his father gave her a special gift, all of
us were enjoying the celebration while she was eating and talking to her parents and
we all were interested in hearing her comments because celebrating birthday is her
favorite pastime.
At the end of the celebration, we all gave each other a hug and a kiss as part of our
culture in Honduras, a gesture that reflects the warmth and unity among people.
During the event, there were several countable elements that made the celebration
special: the hugs, the kisses, the gifts, the decorations, and the drinks. Each of these
countable elements contributed to creating an atmosphere full of joy and warmth.
However, there were also uncountable elements, such as the music playing in the
background, the love shared among the attendees, and the happiness that could be
felt in the air. At night, we all went to the June fair in San Pedro Sula, which takes
place once a year in our country, Honduras. At the fair, there was a variety of activities
and a large number of people enjoying the attractions, the traditional food, and the
excitement that is part of this annual celebration.
Angie had had the best birthday of her life as she enjoyed time with her best friends
and parents. A friend said that he had some chairs at home so that the guests would
be comfortable at the event, his family helped distribute soft drinks and food to serve
the guests during the moment when Angie declared with enormous gratitude that she
was happy to have them all. His parents said; We have some games to entertain
themselves and make the party more fun, where they played rock, paper, scissors,
whoever lost received a penance and the guests laughed at what they witnessed. At
the end of the fair, we were all tired but satisfied with the celebration that took place
during the day. Angie thanked everyone for the great surprise that all her loved ones
and friends who attended prepared for her to make her the best day of her life. Angie
couldn’t ask for anymore because she was very satisfied with the surprise.
