How to improve your review

- READ the instructions carefully


- PLAN before you start writing
- WRITE between 220-260 words
- USE the appropriate grammar, vocabulary, style and structure.(use
synonyms,avoid repetition!)
- make sure you ANSWER everything correctly.
- REVISE spelling ,punctuation and grammar before handing in the
exam.

How to organise your review

There are always ​three things​ that you have to include. These are
usually :

- a ​description​ ​(What did the main character do?)


- ad ​ iscussion​ ​(Why was it surprising?) and
- ar ​ ecommendation ​(Would you recommend the book to other people?).

The outline of every review should look like this:

1. Title and introduction (the best ……. ever)


2. description
3. discussion
4. recommendation

Title: keep it basic

Introduction: quick description.

● This show stars….


● The book was written by...
● The film is about...
Description:

1. Stick to the question and don’t talk about unrelated things.


2. Give some support to your answer (related details)
3. Use adjectives and adverbs to make it more interesting to read.
