Place eyes between rounds 9 and 10, leaving 10 holes between them. 1st eye is placed before

Now for the eyes. Stuff the head well. Cut a long piece of yarn and remove the eyes. Place the
needle in the hole where the first eye was and insert the needle into a hole next to the eye
hole. Go back and forth between each eye hole repeating the process from the first eye. Pull
slightly on the yarn after going through each hole. Do this about 3 times on each side until you
reach the look you want. Follow the pictures for help. There is also a youtube video I have for
extra help on this process.

To place the backs of the eyes you will need to remove most of the stuffing to place the
washers on the eyes then re stuff it.

Assembly

Head and Body:

1. Take a long strand of white yarn and thread your needle. Insert the needle into a hole
in between the eyes. Bring the needle to the lower corner of the eye. Wrap the needle
around the outside of the eye. Insert the needle into a hole on the top of the eye.
Pull a little tightly to create a highlight for the eye. Repeat for the 2nd eye.
2. Pin the head to the body.
3. Sew the head to the body. You may need to add more stuffing as you sew.

Legs:
1. Turn the body upside down and pin the legs in between rounds 3 and 4.
2. Sew the legs onto the body.

Tail:
1. Pin the tail onto the back of the body underneath the backpiece.
2. Cut 4-5 strands of dark brown yarn, approximately 6 inches in length. Attach
the strands onto the bottom of the tail. Cut the strands shorter if you want.

Sweet Oddity Art 11

Hair on head:
1. Cut approximately 5-6 strands of dark brown yarn, approximately 6 inches in length.
Attach them to the top of the head in between the horns in a row.
2. Cut the strands to the length you want. Be careful cutting. If you want take a wire
brush and brush the yarn out if you would like.

Helpful Tips:
Exact Colors Used:
1. Tan: I love this yarn Camel
2. Light Brown: Big Twist Camel
3. Dark Brown: I love this yarn Coffee
4. Tweed: I love this yarn Cream Tweed
5. Cream: I love this yarn Cream

You can use different eye sizes. You might have to adjust the placements if you change the
sizes.

You can use different hook sizes and weights of yarn. It will just change the size of your
longhorn and you might need to adjust eye and nose placement.

How you stuff matters! The type of stuffing you use, how you stuff, all this matters on how your
longhorn turns out. I prefer Polyfil stuffing but you can use other types.
