Setting up the STANDARD WIRELESS ROUTER
Mode
Standard Wireless Router combines functionalities, including routing, DHCP (Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol) assigning IP addresses, NAT (Network Address
Translation), firewall, and Wi-Fi access. It connects multiple devices to the internet, routes traffic between devices on the local network and provides wireless internet access. Typically
used in homes or small offices to manage and share a single internet connection among several devices.
      1. Turn-on the Router (this connects your devices [like computers, smartphones, etc.] to the modem and manages traffic between them on local network. It
enables multiple devices to share a single internet connection from the modem and routes data to the correct device within your network. It also often includes Wi-Fi
[Wireless Fidelity, is a technology that allows devices like computers, smartphones, and other electronics to connect to the internet or communicate
wirelessly within specific area using radio waves.])
      2. Plug the LAN cable to the (1)Router's LAN Port and (2)PC.
      3. Reset the Router, hold for 10 seconds to reset.
      4. Open CMD, type "ipconfig", then ENTER
      5.
Locate the default gateway (Router's IP)

      11. Plug the LAN cable to the (1)WAN port and (2)modem (modulator-demodulator, this connects your home to your internet Service
Provider[/SP] through a phone line, cable or fiber-optic connection. It converts data between digital signals used by your devices and the analog signals used over the
communication lines to access the internet.)
      12. Connect on your phone. If you are connected and can access the internet, it means the configuration is successful.
Setting up the ACCESS POINT Mode
      1. Working Mode > Access Point > SAVE
      2.
Network > LAN > Type: Select Static IP > SAVE > OK > Wait to restart
      3. Open CMD > ipconfig> check the IP showing the unable to obtain an IP address
      4. Open Browser> go to the router's IP address > cannot be accessed
      5. Open CMD > ping the router's IP address > it returns an illegal IP address
      6.
7.
Determine the correct Ethernet Port of the PC > Open Control Panel > Network and Internet > Network and Sharing Center
     > Change Adapter Settings > Right-click the correct Ethernet Port > Properties > Double-click IPV4 > Set an IP address to

Default Gateway > Enter the Router's IP > OK > OK
Open CMD > ipconfig and ping Router's IP to see if it is already set
