To learn how to work individually or with peers and external publics / partners for the
development of an ICT project that advocates or mobilizes for a specific Social Change or Cause
TERMS:
Concept Paper – It is a document used to convince a panel of potential funders to help a product,
program, or service to become a reality

A. Introduction – This includes your mission and vision of your project / campaign
B. Purpose – This includes the reason why the project / campaign is worth your sponsor’s time, effort
and money
C. Description – This includes all the necessary information about the project. It involves the website/s or
page you are going to produce and the purpose of each and how they work in unison.
D. Support – This contains the budget needed for the project, though some concept papers do not specify
any amount requested from the sponsor.
E. Contact Information – This includes information on how the group can be contacted
Ex. (telephone #, sites page, mailing address).
- Note: Your project / campaign must meet the SMART criteria:

File Manager – is an uploading tool web interface that allows you to manage all your files (ex. File

Website Management – a website management platform is an integrated set of tools that allows
teams to create, design, develop, launch, manage, administer, and monitor website contents
Example:
Drupal – A free and open – source content management framework written in PHP and
distributed under the GNU general public license
Web Content Management System – is a software Content Management System (CMS) specifically
for web content
Example:
Joomla – A free and open – source content management system (CMS) for publishing web
Content, written in PHP and uses object – oriented programming (OOP) techniques
2. Promotion and Monitoring on ICT Project
- To increase traffic and traction on ICT Project
- Website Promotion is the process of increasing exposure of a website to bring in visitors. Various
techniques such as Search Engine Optimization (SEO) and Web Content Development are being used
to increase website traffic.
- To get more traffic and traction, you should not only be good in writing / designing, but also good in
promotion
Several ways to gain traffic:
Use Interactive Multimedia – integration of IM to gather different kinds of audiences in different
ways
Use Various Online Tools – create headlines that grab in attention for gathering more audiences
in other networks
Use Images – create images using editing software that will catch the attention of the viewers
Use Blog – use your blogs to frequently connect with other people and build relationship and
network
Collaborate Online – collaboration with friends, influencers and readers will strengthen your
network
Update - always have a fresh content and regularly update post, news, write ups, or images
TRACTIONS TOOLS FOR VALIDATION / FEEDBACKS
LinkedIn – is a social networking site designed specifically for the business community, its goal is
to establish and document networks of people they know and trust professionally
AdWords (Google AdWords) – is an advertising service by Google for businesses wanting to
display ads on Google and its advertising network
Reddit – is an American social news aggregation, web content submission such as links, text
posts, images and then rated by the other members, and a discussion website
Facebook ads – are purchased on an auction basis, where advertisers are charged based on either
clicks, impressions, or actions

Overview – contains the summary of statistics about your page
Post Reach – gives you more insights on which recent post reached the most people
Organic Reach – your posts seen through the page’s wall, share by users and newsfeed
Paid Reach – your posts seen through paid ads
Post Clicks – number of clicks done to your posts
Likes, Comments, and Shares – actual interaction done by your audience either through
liking, commenting and or sharing it on their walls
Page Visits – contains data of the number of times your page tabs are visited
People – contains statistics about your audience’s demographics, also those that you have
reached and engage with
Demographics – It refers to the statistics characterizing human population usually divided by
age, gender, income, location, and language
Psychographics – is the study of personality, attitudes, interests, and lifestyles
Psychographic Segmentation – involves dividing your market into segments based upon
different personally traits, values, attitudes, interests, and lifestyle of consumers
3. Updating Content and Maintaining Traffic
- Keeping the content fresh and maintain people on your site
- Some ways:
a) Update Contents Regularly – add fresh new contents like write ups, pictures, videos, infographics,
blogs, news articles, and ideas regularly
b) Update Links – regularly check links to other sites to make sure they are current and better if you
have new links to add
c) Reply to Inquiries – be active and reply to your visitors on any inquiry, questions or comments
that they may have
d) Maintaining Your Site – maintenance will ensure that your files and file directory structures are
up and running properly at all times, and all your links are functional
VALUES INTEGRATION:
We must utilize these tools wisely in order to reach a bigger audience and maintain good competition.
With the technology that we had, we are able to communicate faster and with comfortability to inform
others on bringing good welfare and common good among the people around globe.
