Rising Through Life’s Challenges

Paulo Asejo BSCS

3rd year
I. Introduction
Hello, everyone.
Let me start with an image imagine a wolf standing tall, its back riddled with arrows, yet it
remains strong, fierce, and unwavering. Beside it lies a younger wolf, collapsed with just one
arrow in its side. This powerful illustration isn't just about wolves; it's about us. It's about you,
me, and the journey we all go through in life.

Today, I want to talk about resilience the scars we carry, the strength we build, and how, with
each challenge, we become stronger versions of ourselves.

II. Body

Main Point 1: Life's Challenges Shape Us

Life is arrows betrayals, failures, heartbreaks, and hardships. The first one always feels like it
will break you. Recall that time when you really experienced adversity for the first time. It was
tremendous that is, unbearable. But then years went by, the more challenges came your way,
something supernatural happened. You didn't just survive but grew.
That younger wolf, lying down with one arrow, reminds us of the early versions of ourselves.
Fragile, unsure, and untested. But each arrow, each challenge, taught us lessons. It taught us how
to stand, even when it hurt.

Main Point 2: Scars Are Proof of Survival

Look at that wolf standing tall with multiple arrows in its back. Those arrows do not symbolize
weakness. They symbolize survival. Each scar tells a story of perseverance. Arrows are not
merely wounds; they are badges of honor, proof that you survived and triumphed.
Think of your own life. The challenges you faced might have left scars physically, emotionally,
or mentally. But those scars also carry lessons. They remind us that pain is temporary, but the
strength we gain from enduring it is lasting.

Main Point 3: Growth Through Pain

In that illustration, it is the point of growth. It is not about avoiding pains; it's about using your
pain as your tool to get stronger. One does not grow into the big, strong wolf by avoiding the
arrows. A person grows by embracing them and learning from them and standing upright despite
them.
Supporting idea:
When life throws challenges your way, you have two choices: let them define you or let them
refine you. The wolf standing tall chose the latter.

III. Conclusion

Summary of Main Points:

Life will throw arrows at you some will hurt deeply. But those arrows shape who you are. They
transform you from the fragile wolf into the strong one. They teach you resilience, courage, and
the art of standing tall, no matter what.

Restate Thesis:
So the next time you feel overwhelmed by life's challenges, remember this image. Remember
that every arrow is an opportunity to grow stronger.

Closing Statement:
Scars aren't signs of weakness. They're proof that you've fought battles and survived. Be proud of
your scars they're the stories of your strength.

Thank you.
