Coraline

The story is about a girl named Coraline, but everyone except her
parents always read her name Caroline. When her family moved to the
new apartment, Coraline soon found a mysterious door. Her mother said
the door was only leading to another apartment in the house, but was
now covered with bricks. But Coraline's mother was wrong, the door not
only led to a new place but also led Coraline to a new world. When
Coraline stepped through the door after tracking Mr. B's mice, she saw
an apartment that look exactly like where her family was living. Only
things seemed more interesting and attractive. This place had the same
parents as her real parents, but their eyes are replaced with buttons. They
want her to stay as their little daughter and love her. They do everything
to attract her lonely soul. Her "new" mom always listens to what she
wants and always makes good meals, while her "new" father is always
playful and always makes her surprises like creating a garden with the
face of Coraline.

All of this attracted Coraline and she wanted to go back there until her
"new" parents wanted Coraline to give them more. They want her to stay
and "become like them" with buttons on her eyes.

The new mother appears as a witch, and as a dying dream, Coraline’s


new world collapses and becomes as ugly as the true nature of the witch.
The witch catches Coraline's parents, tells that if Coraline stays with her,
then her parents will be safe. A dramatic challenge begins with a deal
that is a game. What is the game and after all, will Coraline find her
parents or will she become another victim of the wicked witch?
