As part of the ROME programme we had the privilege to participate in a
fieldwork in Karakulam Panchayat. We extend our sincere thanks to all the faculty members
especially Dr.Valsala, Dr Anuja and Dr.Khurashia without whose excellent guidance this project
would have remained a dream unfulfilled. We take this opportunity to thank all the residents of
Karakulam Panchayat who by their love, goodwill and support made our programme a wonderful
experience. We also thank our friends who gave us full support in our fieldwork. Last but not the
least we thank the God, Almighty for His blessings without which we would not have succeeded in
our venture.
