Dear Sir,
Good day!!

Kindly be advised that the vessel Asphalt Maris is currently holding the below class notation.

We request that you please remove the CHEMICAL TANKER notation, as the vessel is currently only
trading as an Asphalt Carrier.

Due to this notation, there is a discrepancy whether the vessel is required to carry a COF and P&A
manual which is generally required by chemical notation vessels.

Currently, our vessel has not been issued with a P&A manual and COF which has been highlighted in
one of the inspections.

Request to kindly provide us with some immediate and urgent guidance for the above.

We appreciate your prompt attention to this matter.
