The team of E-Cell (Entrepreneurship Development Cell), Parul Polytechnic Institute has
participated in National Entrepreneur Challenge (NEC) - 2019 & International level event named
" E- Summit 2019" Organized by IIT- Mumbai on 19th -20th January 2017.
More then 160 colleges of India have participated in this event & E-cell team of Parul
Polytechnic Institute stood at 2nd position in 'MENTORSHIP' track.
About E-Cell, Parul Polytechnic Institute
EDC at Parul Polytechnics Institute, is having an organized structure with expert team chaired by
Prof. Jatin Vaidhya (Principal- Parul Polytechnic Institute) and Mr. Hutesh Baviskar (EDC
Coordinator, E-Cell Mentor), as well as a core committee of department coordinator with
mature and highest level of business sense, cross-sector expertise is the major criterion for
mentoring and nurturing of idea to startup. To execute the entire institute’s plan, a department
level team has been created where students involve themselves by participating through e-cell
which is another milestone of the journey. In any academic entrepreneurial ecosystem e-cell
formed and managed by students play a vital role because that is the trusted and tested model.
Strategically three major components have been created which are sensitization, conversion and
developing connectivity with local level ecosystem. Various activities are planned in structured
manner under all three initiatives where sensitization will always play the most important role to
create a journey from “Idea to IPO” with identification of right idea at a right time for execution.

About E – Summit 2019
One of India’s largest business event, E-Summit is the flagship event conducted by E-Cell, IIT
Bombay. It’s a conclave of competitions, workshops, panel discussions and speeches from the
biggest names in the world of business.
The entrepreneurship summit is schedule on 19th and 20th January 2019 at IIT Bombay.
The E-cell IIT believe that this capricious nature of business must not be confined to the shackles
of a fixed set of rules.
This year,set this beast free, and hope to radicalize schools of thought preaching a ‘formulaic’
approach to Business. Heralding this mercurial idea, And follow the only protocol of a total
overhaul of existing ‘routes’.
The tradition espoused by E-Cell, manifested itself, into the theme of E-Summit ‘19, “A
Paradigm of Disruption”

INNOVATION CONCLAVE
Entrepreneurship Summit brings together the nation’s nonpareil speakers on innovation and the
leading Indian innovators themselves. The conclave is not only an amalgamation of a plethora of
Innovations that arose because a problem needed to be solved, but also which has strong
growth potential across various levels.
Entrepreneurship Cell believes that Innovation is a paramount force that drives any startup, a
company and ultimately the growth of any country. With this belief, we present to you The
Innovation Conclave, a confluence of visionary innovators from all across India, a true mélange
of innovators and startups; one simply can’t afford to miss.
BUSINESS CONCLAVE
The trend of conferences for a group of people belonging to a specific genre has witnessed an
exponential growth both in terms of number of events and in terms of attendees. There are two
predominant reasons behind this fact, the first being it’s a good platform for professionals to
remain updated in their sector and second, it promotes intra-networking among them. To fulfill
this vision, we present to you the Business Conclave which is a confluence of Marketing, HR,
Data, Finance and Operations meetups.
I_HACK
At I_Hack 2019, this brings together India’s best coders, developers, designers, innovators,
creators and entrepreneurs of tomorrow. I_Hack is geared up for those who are passionate
about building, designing and innovating. It is a 30 Hr event where the enthusiasts meet,
develop and compete in the product prototyping competition.
I_Hack comprises of 3 parallel tracks: BLOCKCHAIN TRACK, SOFTWARE TRACK, HARDWARE
TRACK.
STARTUP EXPO
Startup Expo provides a grand platform for startups to display their product and/ or service to all
the people who attend the E-Summit 2018. These people are the potential customers and
investors for the startup. Also it provides an opportunity for these startups to network with
everyone who attends the Summit. This is also an opportunity for the attendees to learn about
the new entrepreneurial techniques that these startups have employed to become successful in
their journey.

INTERNSHIP & JOB FAIR
Finding the right talent as well as finding the best Internship or Job profile is difficult for both
companies and applicants. Internship and Job Fair (IJF) brings a very innovative solution to this
problem. It provides a platform for companies to hire India’s best talent for different profiles,
and a platform for students to get an internship or a placement in these companies.
E-CONNECT
Today, economy across the world is witnessing a massive change mainly driven by the students
in the form of entrepreneurial thinking. This change may perhaps be the most crucial step in
moldings the future of our nation. Understanding the importance of this change, various IITs,
IIMs, IIITs and other colleges across India have started fostering innovative entrepreneurial
thinking; which is the prime agenda of various EDCs and E-Cells setup in those colleges. To make
a global impact and work in a sustained manner. Thus the motive of E-Connect can be
summarized as “CONNECT. ASCEND. CONQUER.”. Enhancing the extensive network and an
enormous pool of resources commanded by each institute; and leverage the differences,
originating from the abrasion of working individuals in various fields, to observe things which are
complementary to them. These connections, in due time, will lead our nation towards the apex
of the entrepreneurial pyramid.
Panel Discussions:
When industry veterans, business experts, venture capitalists and entrepreneurs discuss ideas,
opinions and trends, you are bound to be left with more knowledge than before about the
current trends, ideologies and methods.

About NEC (National Entrepreneurship Challenge)
"Created with the vision of developing entrepreneurship from grassroots, we plan to promote
entrepreneurship among the younger generation of the country and make sure that youngsters
don’t feel that starting up a company is rocket science”.
National Entrepreneurship Challenge plans to develop entrepreneurship developing bodies in
each campus of India. It is the first of its kind pan India competition.
The Entrepreneurship Cell, IIT Bombay focus on developing the entrepreneurial spirit of
students, which we believe is instrumental for our country to develop. We thought of a channel
to demystify the shroud of alienisms that surrounds innovation. NEC, which is the brainchild of
E-Cell, aims to actualize our dream of a truly entrepreneurial society. It included all the colleges
spread across India, and helps the participating colleges to discover that they are capable of so
much more. Through the National Entrepreneurship Challenge.
The Entrepreneurship Cell, IIT Bombay Envision to help establish entrepreneurship cells all
across the country which in turn will help bolster the startup ecosystem in our country.

About NEC (National Entrepreneurship Challenge) Competitions
IPL AUCTION
The thrill of a live auction! Put yourself in the shoes of a bidder to build the dream team that you
always wanted in these racy hours of nerves, strategy, game theory and gut.If you love cricket, if
you have followed IPL and if you can mix common sense with passion into your bidding strategy,
this event is a must for you.
BOARD ROOM
A company’s performance majorly depends upon the managing directors. The management
teams of a company consist of CEO, COO, CFO, CMO, CTO, etc; each one has different roles and
powers. Be one of them and experience the real-life situations of the corporate world.

or sell a particular stock. These predictions are made with real-time data sets and back analysis.

WOLF OF WALL STREET
Play a Business simulation game, complete with production and trading opportunities. Decide
what the best distribution of resources would be, to produce the maximum results from your
company. Trade your goods with others in the Market, gathering the goods in scarcity and
amassing a profit for yourself. The prices of the goods fluctuate with availability. Would you be
able to guess the scarce items and make a fortune for yourself?
GAME OF THRONES
Ever wished to take decisions like Iron bank, handling finances of different houses. Do you
believe that you can predict the outcome of a war? This competition needs well-planned
strategies and high-end intuition. Expect a lot of twists and turns throughout your way and each
time you think you ace it you will be blasted with shocks.

is conceptualized and what all factors are involved to reflect all the qualities and essence of the

E-Cell IIT Bombay presents you The Minimalist India design competition where you would be
given a chance to solve a real-life case study problem in which you have to develop the brand
identity and design elements.
