Introduction To Probability

Probability measures the likelihood of events occurring and is analyzed through statistics. Decimals can be converted to fractions by placing the decimal over its place value, and percentages can be converted to decimals by dividing by 100. Probability can also be expressed as a percentage, indicating the likelihood of an event based on possible outcomes.

Introduction to Probability

Probability is simply how likely something is to happen. Whenever we're unsure about the
outcome of an event, we can talk about the probabilities of certain outcomes and how likely they
are. The analysis of events governed by probability is called statistics.

How decimal relates with fraction

Decimals can be written in fraction form. To convert a decimal to a fraction, place the decimal number
over its place value. For example, in 0.6, the six is in the tenths place, so we place 6 over 10 to create
the equivalent fraction, 6/10.
How decimal is related with percentage
To convert a percentage to a decimal, divide it by 100. So, 25% is 25/100, or 0.25. To convert a decimal
to a percentage, multiply by 100 (just move the decimal point 2 places to the right

How percentage is related to probability

Probability can also be written as a percentage, which is a number from 0 to 100 percent. The higher the
probability number or percentage of an event, the more likely is it that the event will occur. The
probability of a certain event occurring depends on how many possible outcomes the event has
