Serving God in These Last Days: Chapters

This document provides an introduction and two chapters from a book about serving God. The introduction encourages the reader to stop waiting and start serving God now, as their life has purpose and the world needs them. Chapter 1 argues that as redeemed beings, Christians are called to serve God and should not be idle. It notes several biblical examples of unlikely people God used mightily. Chapter 2 outlines some potential obstacles to service, such as possessions, business obligations, and relationships, but says true devotion to God requires overcoming such distractions.

INTRODUCTION WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR? You are not in the kingdom of God by mistake, you know within you that you are saved for a purpose. Right in your inside you know you ought to serve God; what are you waiting for? The world is waiting for you, your generation is expecting your manifestation, stop wasting God's grace. Sit, think and move. Dont wait until you expire. You are destined to be a messiah, dont die as a carpenter. you are born to be an actor, dont die as a spectator! Stop clapping for others, join the race. There are works for you to do. 2 Kings7 :9 then they said one to another, WE DO NOT WELL... this day is a day of good tidings and we hold our peace... Why are you holding your peace? Why wont you join the invading army of gospel publishers? The lepers in the above text judged themselves and moved forward. Beloved, you do not well. The harvest is wasting, you must join the labourers. ...if we tarry till the morning lihgt, some mischief will come upon us... There is a time to tarry, there is a time to toil. This is the time to toil, stop waiting for a better time, stop expecting a better opportunity. This is your opportunity to serve, if you wait, you will waste. The contents of this write up are inspired by God to set you on fire. This end time war requires men and women who will dare every opposition and labour in the vineyard of God. As you read, I commend you to God and to the word of His grace. Remember, you have only one life to live, what you do or fail to do will definitely go into the book of records. Shalom.

CHAPTER ONE YOU ARE BETTER THAN ANIMALS. Idleness is abominable in this Kingdom. God detests it. If truly you have been redeemed by the blood of the Lamb, you have no option. Revelation 22:3b ... and his servants shall serve him. Every Christian is called to serve, there is no servant who shouldn't serve. There is no believer who should not be busy working for God. Mark 13: 34 For the son of man is as a man taking a far journey who left his house and gave authority to his servants and to every man his work, and commanded the porter to watch. Every man in the Kingdom has a specific assignment, getting involved in that assignment for the corporate benefit of the body of Christ is called SERVICE. The scripture says let my people go, that they may serve me. You are saved to serve, you are delivered to work, you are redeemed to labour in the vineyard of God. Matthew 21: 28 But what think ye? A certain man had two sons and he came to the first and said, son go work today in my vineyard and came to the second and said likewise. The commandment of God is GO AND WORK. Beloved, godliness is profitable if you are involved in service. Righteousness is rewarding if you are labouring for God. Don't be a spectator, dont be a benchwarmer. Get involved. Seek first the expansion of the Kingdom of your father and all other things shall be added unto you. All those things you are pursuing are predestined to pursue you. Just seek after God, pursue the welfare of His Kingdom and you'll be dazed by heavenly blessings. ONLY ONE LIFE

You are not going to live twice, you will not have another chance to serve. This is your opportunity to do good unto men and have your foot prints on the sands of time. A song written by Ira Sankey and sung by the graveside of Spurgeon has been of marvelous blessings to me. Only remember Only remember by what you have done This world will pass away and all it's toiling Only remember by what you have done. Your passage through this world is only once, don't lose your chance. Serve! work for your father! Influence your generation, make an impact and leave something for people coming hereafter to admire. Acts 13: 36 For David after he had served his own generation by the will of God... David served his generation before he went to his father's sepulchre. You must serve your generation too. Surely there is something reserved for you to do. IF YOU REFUSE To every football player there is possible replacement on the reserve bench. No one can hold the coach to ransom. No player is indispensable. Sure, it is the same with God. If you refuse to serve, if you decline to work, the purpose of God will be fulfiled with or without you. God's purpose cannot fail, he may only need to use a different person. When Eli refused to live up to God's expectation, Samuel replaced him. When Saul did not fully obeyed God, David came from nowhere. Luke 19 : 40 And he answered and said unto them, I tell you that, if these should hold their peace, the stones would immediately cry out. Beside every saint of God there is a stone. If the saint will not serve, the stone will be raised up.

DO NOT DESPISE YOURSELF Do not belittle yourself, no matter your condition, you are His battle axe and weapon of war. If you will only make yourself available, you will be surprised at what God can do through you. You may not have any spectacular ability, it does not matter because what God is looking for is availability. Job 36 : 5 Behold, God is mighty and despiseth not any... God does not despise you, dont despise yourself. Moses was a stammerer, he was used to deliver a whole nation. Gideon was a weakling, God used him to rescue Israel from the hand of the Midianites. Samuel could not even identify God's voice, he became a Priest. David was a bush boy, he beheaded Goliath and became a king. Friends, this cloud of witnesses is enough evidence that you can be used. YOU ARE BETTER THAN ANIMALS. I Corinthians 1:27b, 28a ... and God hath chosen the weak things of the world to confound the things which are mighty; and base things of the world, and things which are despised, hath God chosen... God can use anything, He can use anyone. He used ravens to minister to Elijah, he used dove to assess the earth after the flood, He used a donkey to warn the erring prophet and a lion to deal with the disobedient servant. He employed a fish to correct the straying Evangelist and another fish to bring forth money from no where! You are better than animals; you are of more importance than 4 legged creatures. There is someting special in you that is not in any other person on earth! You are a special creature that has no duplicate. God needs you! God needs you and you must respond. There is no time to waste! Answer the call into service now. Kings business require haste, the work assigned for you is a very urgent one. No handicap is big enough to stop him from using you. No problem is tough enough to

stop you from serving him. Kathryn Khulman was a divorcee, she died in active service. Peter was a backslider, he became special apostle to the Jews. Esther was an orphan, she delivered a whole race! Beloved, you have no excuse for remaining idle! CHAPTER TWO OBSTACLES TO SERVICE There are multitudes in Egypt, there are souls in the valley of decision. Many are there groaning in bondage thirsty for freedom. people are suffering in ignorance waiting eagerly in darkness for the light you are carrying. Isaiah 6:8 And I heard the voice of the Lord saying, Whom shall I send and who will go for us? God want you to go and bind up the brokenhearted, to go and proclaim liberty to the captives and make their heart glad that are mourning in Zion. However, there are some hindrances, which are capable of preventing you from going forth into the service of the master. 1. Possessions Material possession in abundance is not in anyway ungodly. In fact, that is the will of God for His people. But you should not allow this to hinder you in any way. A man's life consist not in the abundance of the things which he possessed. Rather, the value of life is measured by the amount of impact it has made on other lives Luke 14:18 And they all with one consent began to make excuse. The first said unto him I have bought a piece of ground, and I must need to go and see it; I pray thee have me excused. The man above preferred to stay with his possession. Look, there is

nothing you have which you have not received, why should you refuse to serve the giver? Is he not "He that gives you power to get wealth?" Remember, he has the power to lift and the power to lower, He maketh rich and maketh poor! 2. Secular Business Judges 5: 17 - 18. ... and why did Dan remain in ships? Asher continued on the sea shore abode in his breaches. Zebulum and Naphtali were a people that jeopardized their lives unto death in the high places of the field. In the great battle of Isreal against Jabin, the king of Canaan and Sisera their captain, the tribes of Dan and Asher refused to go to the battlefield, they had better engagement in their day to day business! Some are already swallowed by secular engagements and are incapable of serving God. Yes, you need to work, you need to eat but never allow that to prevent you from labouring in God's vineyard. Do your best and serve your God. 3. Relationship I Corinthians 7:29, 35c But this I say, brethren, the time is short: it remaineth, that both they that have wives be as though they had none; ... that ye may attend the Lord without distraction. Family relationship - wife, husband, brothers, relatives could serve as hindrance to entire consecration through oppositiion or through sentimental appeal, However, if you know the importance of service and the accompanying rewards you will not give in to family pressure. Mark 10:29,30. There is no man that hath left house or brethren or sisters or father or mother or wife or children or lands FOR MY SAKE AND THE GOSPEL. But he shall receive an hundred fold now in this time ... and in the world to come eternal life. You must discard earthly relationship to secure divine pleasure.

Elisha was neither hindered by his parents nor by those twelve yokes of oxen. Take heed, what He will offer you no earthly uncle can. 4. Laziness Some people are pathologically lazy. They are simply under the oppression of the spirit of laziness. These people will never amount to anything in secular business or in God's vineyard. If you are guilty, deliver yourself now! Get ready to do something, stand against the adversary who is set to render your life valueless. Every obstacle is surmountable, it only takes ability to receive and obey instructions. Beloved, what is hindering you? Shun every obstacles and receive divine strength. Move forward and serve. Go into God's vineyard and labour. I curse every spirit of laziness. I curse every spirit of indifference. Every sentimental attachment hindering you is hereby broken! You are released immediately to go and serve your fathers, in Jesus precious name. CHAPTER THREE RENDERING ACCEPTABLE SERVICE Many are serving God, only few are rendering acceptable services, what a waste of time! What a waste of effort. It is equivalent to shouting without being heard, or fetching buckets of water into a basket. Foolishness, you will say? Yeah, utter foolishness is it, to render unacceptable service. How then can your service be made acceptable 1. Make your life acceptable If your life is contemptible your service will be abominable. If your life does not please him, your sacrifice cannot be a well pleasing one. Genesis 4: 5,7 And the Lord said unto Cain, ... if thou DOEST well, shalt not be accepted? thou

Until you do well, your sacrifice, your service remains rejected. Isaiah 1: 10, 11a Hear the word of the LORD, ye rulers of Sodom; give ear the law of our God, ye people of Gomorrah. To what purpose is the multitude of your sacrifices unto me..." unto

If Sodom, the city of iniquities is still your abode all your services are in vain. Present yourself as a living sacrifice to God, be born again and begin to walk righteously with the most HIGH then shall your services be acceptable. 1. Serve wholeheartedly Serve God with your whole being. Put your heart into your service. Where your heart is, that is where your treasure will come from. Until you are totally involved, you cannot be truly commended. Hosea 10:2 Their heart is divided, now shall they be found faulty... If your heart is divided, your service will be faulted. Deuteronomy 10:12 And now Israel what doth the Lord thy God require of thee, ... but to ... serve the Lord thy God with all thy heart and with all thy soul. Whole hearted service is God's requirement, anything lesser in unacceptable. 3. Serve Joyfully Service require strength and the scripture says the joy of the Lord is our strength. If you must serve at all, you must do it joyfully. If you murmur while serving your profit is automatically cancelled. If you serve without joy, you will be punished. The scripture says, "Because thou servest not... with joyfulness, therefore shall thou serve thine enemies..." The yoke of Jesus is easy, his burden is light. Even if you suffer in the pathway of service dont lose your joy.

Psalm 100:2a Serve the Lord with gladness come before his presence singing.

with

Service is a privilege. That you are a partaker should gladden your heart. The disciples even after being beaten left the presence of the council rejoicing. 4. Serve willingly. Service rendered because of external presure is not acceptable. if you are forced to serve God, you have no reward. I Chronicles 28:3 And thou Solomon my son, know thou the God of thy father, and serve him with a perfect heart and with a willing mind... A willing mind is God's prerequisite in service. Service willingly offered, provokes heaven and forces the host thereof to fight your battle. The scripture says, the Lord avenged Israel, when the people willingly offered themselves" (Judges 5:2) 5. Serve with Humility. God resists (Fights) the proud, he cant accept their service. If you use your talent or energy or money to serve God, dont feel high. There is nothing you have that you have not received. Luke 17:20 So likewise ye, when ye shall have done all those things which are commanded you, say; we are unprofitable servants. We have done that which was our duty to do. You are not doing anything strange or new. Servants must serve. Therefore let not your heart be lifted up. Honour accompanies service (John 12:26) but that honour could only be appropriated on the platform of humility for the scripture says "before honour is humility" (Proverbs 18:12) 6. Serve with fear Psalm 2:11 Serve the Lord with fear and rejoice with trembling.

The type of fear here is holy fear. The fear that will force you to put in your best without deceit; knowing that God cannot be mocked. 7. Serve unto the end You are not required to serve God, you must serve Him continually. Those who have laid their hands on the plough are not allowed to look back. Zechariah 4:9 The hands of Zerubbabel have laid the foundation of this house, his hands shall also finish it. I Corinthians 15:58 Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye steadfast, unmovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord for as much as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord. What you've started you must finish. If you do not serve faithfully to the end your work will suffer loss. We are not judged by how much things we are able to start, rather we will be assessed by how much things we are able to finish. Crowns are given at the end of the competition; medals are awarded only after the race. Those who stop running in the middle of the race will have nothing to show for their effort. May you never labour in vain. Strive to make your service acceptable lest you sweat for nothing. CHAPTER FOUR UNACCEPTABLE EXCUSES Service is your pathway to destiny. If you excuse yourself from service, you are excusing yourself from destiny. If you refuse to labour, you have rejected your lifting. Many who dont want to serve will always have certain excuses. None of such idle excuses however is acceptable. 1. Lack of money Money is necessary, money is important. Hardly can you do anything without it. Yet it is not the Alpha and the Omega of service. It is not the only

thing needed. The ministry God has privilege me to pioneer started without anything in my bank account. Judges 6:15 And he said unto him, oh my Lord, wherewith shall I save Israel? Behold, my family is poor in Manasseh and I am the least in my father's house. And the Lord said unto him, surely I will be with thee, and thou shalt smite the Midianites as one man. Gideon was trying to excuse himself but God refused to listen. Gideon said I dont have money, but God said, I dont care, go, you will win! As far as God's service is concerned, just lay down your life and heaven will send down the fund. If the assignemnt is divine in origin, the expenses will be miraculously taken care of. 2. Age There is no age at which God cannot use you. You are not too young, you are not too old. God called Abraham at 75; he used David, a young boy! Jeremiah said he was a child, but God refused his excuse; he wont accept yours either. 3. Personal Handicap God delights in using weak people. David was an untrained warrior, Samuel couldn't even hear the voice of God. Moses was a stammerer, Gideon was a coward: they all became somebody in God's vineyard. You are not handicapped until you think you are. Smith Wigglesworth was taught how to read and write by his wife at the age of twenty-eight. His sentences were always full of grammatical errors, yet he was mightily used of God! 4. The accompanying risk. Proverbs 22:13 The slothful man saith, there is a lion without, I shall be slai in the streets. There may be lion in the streets, danger may appear looming but God is able to preserve you and take care of you. You cant serve and regret. While serving, you may lose your job, your reputation or your friend. Do not let this hinder you. The coming weight of glory is greater than the present load of affliction. May the Lord grant you understanding.

Friends, you have an innate ability. You have a great potentials. There is something in you more precious than what others have said about you. You must be exposed to service before you can be fulfilled in life. Dont push away your destiny, dont destroy your future. dont run from God's service. In the name of Jesus you will not be stranded! CHAPTER FIVE SECRETS OF EFFECTIVE SERVICE Luke 10:30 And Jesus answering said, A certain man went down from Jerusalem to Jericho and fell among thieves, which stripped him of his raiment and wounded him, and departed, leaving him half dead. But a certain Samaritan, as he journeyed, came where he was: and when he SAW him, he had COMPASSION on him. And WENT to him, and bound up his wounds, pouring in OIL and WINE and set him on his own beast,... And on the morrow when he departed, he too two PENCE and gave them to..., and said... whatsoever thou spendest more when I come again I WILL repay thee. Inside this short story there are either clear conditions that make for effective service. 1. VISION ...and when he saw him the Samaritan "saw" before he could help. Before you can amount to anything in God's vineyard you need to see. You need to acquire vision. Vision is not dream. By vision I do not mean the birds or the trees you see in your nightmares. Rather i mean insight into your life's purpose. What are you seeing? What is that prophetic picture of your future you have grabbed? God told Abraham, "all the land which thou seest, to thee will I give it and to thy seed for ever". What you see is what you'll get. Working without vision is like running without direction. You must be labouring either for a corporae or personal vision. Mission minus vision is a futile exercise. It's like a blind man running marathon.

2.

COMPASSION Vision naturally commands compassion when the Samaritan saw the dying man he hand compassion. In Matthew 14:14, when Jesus was a great multitude and their needs, he was moved with compassion towards them. Without genuine compassion on your side, that assignment you are to carry out may not be completed successfully. Vision pushes you to the path of duty, compassion keeps you moving. Compassion opens the door of power which is without doubt necessary for effective service. Jesus was moved to tears by the graveside of Lazarus then he that was dead came back to life. When Jesus saw the hungry multitude in the wilderness, he was moved and power came down to multiply 2 fishes and 5 loaves of bread that the multitide might be fed. Do you really want to serve God effectively? Then allow the very feeling of infirmities of the needy to touch your soul. 3. MOBILITY Many knew what they should do for God. They have enough passion to secure divine intervention. Yet they are seated doing nothing. If you do not move, you cannot achieve. There is no better time; there will be no greater opportunity. Now, is your hour of manifestation. Vision is not enough. Compassion is not sufficient. You must take a step of faith. Mark 16: 27 And these signs shall follow them that believe... Nothing will follow you if you are not moving. The word follow presumes that you are on the move. It is motion that precipitate manifestation. Mark 16:20 And they went forth and preached everywhere, the Lord working with them, and confirming the word with signs following. When they "went forth", the Lord worked with them. Do you want Him to work with you? Then start doing something. Go forth!

Dont remain a dreamer. Vision not pursued will bring confusion. Dreams not done will be discarded. It's time for action. Proverbs 22:25 The desire of the slothful killeth him, for his hands refuse to labour. Dont let your vision slay you, go forth into the vineyard and work. The good Samaritan "went forth" to rescue the dying man. This is your time to move, until you move, you cannot manifest. make your choice. Your manifestation, which is attached to service has a time tag. This is your own hour. If you dont move now it may be too late! 4. AVAILABILITY OF OIL When the Samaritan moved near the dying man, he poured oil on his wounds. Without oil, that would will go septic before they get to the hospital. Beloved, you need oil too. Yes, the oil of God. The Holy Spirit. The anointing. Without the power of the Holy Spirit your labour may be full of sweat and struggles, it will lack the expected fruits. To serve God effectively you must ask God for the oil, you must seek His face for power. Jesus couldnt move for 30 years, but when the oil came by river Jordan, he shoot the whole world. The disciples were ordered to remain at Jerusalem in order to receive power! Beloved, dont waste your time running about without power. Without the unction of the Holy Spirit every labour is nothing but exercise in futility. No power, no fruits. If you are oil-less, you will be useless. Tarry and let the oil come upon you. God is faithful, He will not disappoint you. 5. WINE The Samaritan did not only pour oil, he poured wine also. What does wine represent? Wine is the liquid extract from the vine. And Jesus said "I am the vine". Meanwhile Jesus is the Word. The scripture says "And the word was made flesh and dwelt among us, and we behold his glory, the glory of the only begotten of the father, full

of grace and truth". It goes therefore that the wine represent the Word. Effective service demand high word level. If you are wordless, you will be worthless. Every service in the kingdom starts and ends up with the word, whether you are singing or acting a play, you are publishing the word! How much word is in you determines how much you matter in the vineyard. Micah 6:9 The lord's voice crieth unto the city, and the man of wisdom shall see thy name: hear ye the rod,... Rod represents the word of God. With the rod, Moses confronted Pharaoh and delivered the Israelites. Imagine Moses without the rod! He will be destroyed without remedy. Must you serve effectively? You need the rod-the word of God. Serving God involves confronting the devil and you dare not do it without the sword of the spirit i.e. the word of God. Jesus drove away Satan with the word, you also need the word if your must resemble your master. 2 Timothy 2:15 Study to show thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed,... Any workman who will avoid shame must be full of the word. 6. MONEY ...When he departed, he took two PENCE and gave them to... Money is important. Even with the anointing if you are without fund, you will be without impact. It takes money for you to render effective service. Which area of the gospel do not need money? Be ready to give all you have for the kingdom. lay everything on the altar. Before you can expect God to provide miraculously, you must have given him that which is with you. Everything you think you have is NOT

YOURS. You are only a steward! Therefore dump your substance for kingdom use, and see how much blessings you will enjoy. Giving to God as a person who is actively involve in service should not end in tithes and scanty offerings. Ten percent is not enough. Do you want to be used of God? Then stop this useless arithmetic. Give bountifully and reap bountifully. Give painful offerings and receive amazing blessisngs! Surely, great is your future, in Jesus precious name. 7. PRACTICAL FAITH ...When I come again I will repay thee. The Samaritan did not have enough money but he moved by faith. If you want to wait for all the needed fund to be ready before you move you will wait forever. Without faith it is impossible to please God and Serve effectively. Serving God is a fight of faith, if you are faithless you will be valueless and fruitless. In everything you are involved in, trust in God. Surely it is not by might, it is not by power but by my spirit says the Lord of Hosts. Faithful is he who called you, he will not disappoint. Friends, you have no option. You must serve God. That is the only way forward, there is no alternative. You cannot serve and suffer, make your decision today and lay your hand on th plough! CHAPTER SIX THE PRESENTABLE SERVICE Service is of two types, acceptable service and presentatble service. Acceptable service refers to services with right motive, rendered by people whose life is acceptable to God. Service to God is said to be presentable however if it is fruitful and can be boasted of. No matter how acceptable to God all your efforts are, if

you have no result you cant present it to God. God is only excited by your results. Jesus saw a beautiful, leafy fig tree. He approached it looking for fruits. Not seeing one, he cursed it. That tree was acceptable but without fruits, it is not presentable. John 17:4-5 I have glorified thee on the earth: I have finished the work which thou gavest me to do. And now, O Father, glorify thou me with thine own self with the glory which I had with thee before the world was. The service of Jesus was acceptable and presentable. He finished his task and boldly reported to the Most High. Little wonder, he was honoured and given a name higher than any other name! BASIS OF PRESENTABLE SERVICE 1. KNOWLEDGE Jesus operated on the basis of knowledge. At 12 years of age he was a whiz kid! You cant stand his word. In the midst of scribes and lawyers, his insight dazed everybody. John 6:5,6 When Jesus then lifted up his eyes and saw a great company come unto him, he saith unto Philip whence shall we buy bread, that these may eat? And then he said to prove him: for he himself knew waht he would do. Jesus could not be concerned. He always knew the way out. Beloved, knowledge is power. Service rendered in ignorance will be fruitless. Do all what you can therefore and acquire knowledge in your area of service. Go to bookstores and buy books, go and secure tapes, use your money to procure information that you may experience transformation. He is not a fool who empty his pocket to fill his brain. 2. DIVINE DIRECTION Jesus never missed the finger of God. What to do, where to go and

waht to say were dictated to him by God. He said, "I can of mine own self do nothing as I hear, I judge". At the pool of Bethsaida, he knew who to go to. When Lazarus died he knew the time to to. He never acted based on common sense. Common sense will give common results. His actiions were products of divine instructions. It takes divine instruction for you to obtain satisfying results. Paul was not led into Jerusalem he came out of the place battered, beaten and fruitles. 3. HOLY GHOST POWER Jesus operated in power. He couldnt move until the dove descended. he didnt preach until the oil came. In this kingdom, eloquence is useless; charisma is of no relevance. If the heavens do not open on you, your service will lack the required impact. Luke 24: 49 And behold, I send the promise of my father upon you: but tarry ye in the city of Jerusalem until ye be endued with power from on high. Power is compulsory, unction is indispensable. Without power you cant move, without the anointing you cant serve. If you serve without power, you will sweat without result! INGREDIENT OF A PRESENTABLE SERVICE Jesus, the 'man' whose service was presentable shed three things in the pathway of service: tears, sweat and blood. These three things are necessary ingredients of every presentable service. 1. TEARS Hebrew 5:7 Who in the days of his flesh, when he had offered up prayers and supplications with strong crying and tears unto him that was able to save him fom death and was heard in that he feared: Jesus wept in Gethsemane, travailing for souls. He cried by the tomb of Lazarus out of compassion. He shed tears. Do you want your service to

be presentable too? You must shed tears. Yes, tears of compassion in prayer: Psalm 56:8 ... put thou my tears into thy bottle, are they not in thy book? There is a book of tears in heaven; God takes adequate record of every prayer of compassion. John Knox wept day and night, praying "Give me Scotland or I die". And before he died Scotland was declared to be a Pentecostal nation. Beloved, your tears are important, for it will take broken men to break fellow men! 2. SWEAT This talks of physical labour. You must spend energy in the direction of service. In John 4:6, Jesus was physically extenuated before 12 noon. He worked. You must work too! In which area are you serving God? Work, sweat, labour! Then will your services be presentable. 3. BLOOD The life of the flesh is in the blood thereof. Jesus shed his blood in the pathway of duty. He gave his life! You must give your life too. Lay your whole life upon the altar... for God is never impressed by a lesser sacrifice. The Kingdom need men, like men of David who jeopardized their lives to draw water from the well of Bethlehem in the midst of the enemies. Yes, God needs men and women who are ready to risk their life and career! Men who will literally lay down their lives. Beloved, it is necessary to travail, it is important to labour, it is compulsory for you to lay your life down, if your service must be presentable!

CHAPTER SEVEN

IF YOU SERVE HIM Serving God is profitable. Working in the vineyard of the Almighty is rewarding. It is not possible to render effective service and not receive enough benefits. Divine Provision If you serve him, he will serve you. If you serve him, he will not permit you to suffer. Exodus 23: 25 And ye shall serve the Lord your God and he shall bless thy bread and the water... When God blesses your loaf, it multiplies. When your loaf multiplies, you will be satisfied. Elijah was a servant of God, when all Israel suffered he was exempted. Divine Health and Long Life. Service keeps you above sickness. Working in God's vineyard guarantees divine health for as many that are informed. Exodus 23:25 And ye shall serve the Lord your God and he shall bless thy bread and the water and I will take sickness away from the midst of thee. .... the number of thy days I will fulfill If you have a seminar to teach, a spiritual function to perform, God will not ordinarily allow you to be hospitalized. Even if you are tired, God will "service" your body and renew your strength. Death, premature death will be far from you. The scripture says "I shall not die, but live, and declare the works of the Lord", Once you have a vision to declare God's works, death cannot touch you. Divine Protection. Malachi 3:17,18 (TLB) ... and I will spare them as a man spare an obedient and dutiful son. Then you will see the difference... between those who serve him and those who dont.

God will protect his workers, even if there is a general affliction. The word says 'touch not mine annointed'. This implies that there is a "touch not" mark upon everyone serving God; in the hour of danger, they will be spared! Divine Intervention In Luke 1:5-11, the angel of God appeared to Zachariah while he was busy performing his duty. He has been old and childless, yet he did not allow the problem to take him away from God's service. The angel visited him and God intervened. At a very old age, John was born! What a miracle! Everyone tied to the vineyard of the Almighty will never cease to enjoy divine intervention at the hour of need! Beloved, it is sweet to serve God, it is good to work for Him. Thy beginning may be small, but thy latter end shall be enviable. Isaiah 52:7 How beautiful upon the mountains are the feet of him that bringeth good tidings, that publisheth peace that bringeth good tidings of good that publisheth salvation; Beauty is associated with service, beautiful feet is the heritage of kingdom labourers! Find your bearing therefore and shine! Get involved and enjoy the rewards. The Bible says, if any man serve me, him will my father honour. Do you want honour? Then serve! A donkey carried Jesus and was honoured. People spread expensive clothes on the ground to honour Jesus, but it was that donkey that walked on the clothes! He carried Jesus and received honour. If you want honour too, begin to carry Jesus. Start publishing salvation, start labouring to save and edify souls. GO IN THIS THY MIGHT There is nothing to wait for any longer, the strength of God is on your inside, you have tarried enough. Go forth, move ahead. Gideon complained, but God commanded... "Go in this thy might'. Your excuse is not acceptable. Your complaint is not presentatble. You have only one

option... Go and work! Psalm 68:11 The Lord gave the word, great was the company of those that published it. Be counted among the army of publishers. Deliver thyself from every chain; move on into the vineyard. There is an assignment for you, if you dont do it you have failed: you have failed your generation, you have disappointed your Savior. Beloved, will you go? Will you go and make the difference? Will you now go and fulfill destiny? Will you go and answer the call of God?.
