1. The drug is addictive, can cause withdrawals.

2. Effects in mental health and brain.

3. Health problems in lung.

Opposition arguments

1. Health Benefits (pang rebut sa 1, there are legal drugs like opioids used for used as pain reliever but
evidence shows that marijuana is safer to take than it, even less addicting.)

2. Economic benefits for cannabis industry

3. Decriminalizing use of marijuana helps in decreasing crime rate and disproportional crimes. Will help
focus in more serious criminal cases.
