Cale walked into the cafeteria with Choi han and Rosalyn on one

side and Alberu on the other.

And boy that surely got everyone whispering.
Cale being the dense idiot was oblivious to this and just ordered
before sitting next to Alberu on the 4 seater table.

He then noticed Eric and the others and just waved at them.

Meanwhile Choi han came back with their lunch and they sat down
to eat.

“C-Cale…with the president..”

Eric stuttered.

“What’s the problem? Choi Han is there with him.”

“No not that…Alberu Crossman is there as well!”

Gilbert looked at him judgingly.

“Aren’t you two in the same year? Stop being so wary of him, he
seems like a decent person you know?”

“Mm..maybe I am too paranoid.”

‘But still..Cale is the youngest in our group and the most
complicated so I worry about him.’

“Yes you are now eat quietly.”

“Okay…”

Eric thought as he slurped on his noodles.

Meanwhile, Cale was judging the cafeteria food.

‘Beacrox’s cooking is in nite times better than this.’

It didn’t matter how high class the university was, their food was
always just edible…..or worse in some cases.

Choi Han who was watching Cale eating the same sandwich for
the past 15 minutes asked him worriedly.

“Cale nim arę you ok?”

Cale stopped nibbling at his food and looked towards Choi Han.

“Yeah just don’t feel like eating.”

“Ah..”
Choi Han now looked even more worried because Cale only
ordered on sandwich and still left half of it untouched.

Cale who saw Choi Han looking at him worriedly thought.

‘Is he worried about me wasting the food? Aigoo this good guy..’

“Don’t worry I’ll feed this to the kittens.”

“Cale nim you have cats?!”

Choi Han suddenly yelled which made Cale surprised while still
wearing his stoic face.

“Uh..yeah.”

“Since when did you have a pet?”

It seems like Rosalyn was interested too.

“Not a pet. Picked them up.”

Came Cale’s deadpan answer.

‘What?’

“That’s still a pet Cale.”

This time, it was Alberu.

Cale looked at him with a confused expression.

“You picked them up but don’t they live with you now?”

“Mm.. yes.”

“So they’re your pets.”

“Not pets. Freeloaders.”

Alberu gave up.

“Is that so?”

He said with twitching lips which were of course noticed by Cale.

Cale said with an extremely satis ed expression.

Rosalyn looked in awe while Choi Han just sighed.

They continued talking about a di erent topic while Cale being

swipe through his phone messages.

‘They are moving now? I thought they wouldn’t move before the
Freshmen’s party.’

‘Just what are their motives?’

[Cale: Stay still for now. Meeting today at midnight.]

“Cale nim we should go now. Next lecture starts in 5 minutes.”

Cale looked away from his phone and nodded.

“Okay.”

He stood up and got ready to leave and just then.

“R-RUN!!!”

“BANDITS HAVE BROKEN INTO THE SCHOOL!!!! THEY HAVE

GUNS!”

It became chaos in just a few seconds.

Cale had a potentially true but unveri ed idea of who they might be

*INTRUDERS HAVE ENTERED THE PREMISE! LOCKDOWN TO BE

The speakers started blaring alarms.

Meanwhile, the students started panicking even more at that.

Cale was standing there calmly even under such a pressing

situation.

Choi Han was already standing in attack mode ready to take down
anyone that might come at him.
Rosalyn was doing something on her phone with a serious
expression.

“AH SHIT! THE NETWORK IS CUT OFF!”

She shouted in anger. Someone had disrupted the network

purposely.

“D-does that mean there is no way to ask for help?”

“I don’t want to die!”

More and more of them were screaming right now.

In the midst of this chaos, two individuals looked at each other.

‘We need to calm them down.’

‘You take the lead.’

They both nodded their heads at each other.

Alberu suddenly stepped forward and.

“EVERYONE CALM DOWN!”

Shouted with a bold voice.

Once he noted that they have become silenced he continued.

“Now is not the time for you to panic! The rst thing we need to do
is to create a barrier!”

The students that returned to their senses started ddling with

around looking for something to do.

Seeing this Cale sighed.

“You.”

“Huh? A—ah me?”

“Look for any sharp objects you can nd and distribute it amongst
everyone.”

“Hah? OH YES!!”

The student started collecting all the knives at the kitchen counter
and other sharp things.

Others seemed to have been enlightened as they too started taking

out scissors, razor, even dissection boxes from their bags to
protect themselves.

“Now rst years. Close all of the windows and shut the curtains.”

“Yes!”
“Got it!”

 Several shouts of a rmation were heard as they got to work.

“Second years. Follow Choi Han and close the entrance to block
the remaining intruders from entering.”

“Ah y-yes!”
Even though he was a junior to them, they couldn’t seem to
disobey him.

“Choi Han go with them.”

Choi Han who was just blankly staring at Cale snapped back to
reality.

“Cale nim will you be ok?”

“I’ll be ne. Don’t worry about me. Try to block as many of them as
you can.”

Seeing him be so con dent, Choi Han also had a determined look.

“Yes!”

Choi Han took o with the majority of the second years.

“Those of you left here, please go into each of the classes, order
them to lock their doors and stay there until it is safe. Do not
unlock the doors under any circumstances.”

Cale warned them on what to do.

“YES!”
“LET’S GO!”
“GUYS BE CAREFUL!”

They all scattered through the building with determined

expressions.

Rosalyn went to Sheritt and Eruhaben leaving only Alberu with

Cale.

Alberu who watched as Cale gave the orders was completely
stunned as he stood there.

He had never seen someone so easily take control of a situation

while remaining so calm.

‘He is a good leader.’

But he was brought back to reality as the north-eastern heirs came

towards him and Cale.

“Cale! We stayed back because we were worried.”

“Let’s go and hide ourselves.”
“It’s dangerous here.”

Amiru, Eric and Gilbert stood in front of him as they said that.

“Don’t worry about me and go.”

“But-!”

Cale didn’t wait to hear Eric’s words as he walked towards the

trembling workers.

“Ahjussi you guys stays here and lock the door as soon as we go
out okay?”

He spoke to the head chef who nodded.

Then Cale turned back towards Alberu and his friends.

“It’s dangerous, lady Amiru please take them and hide in the
nearest classroom.”

“Cale! What about you-”

“I’ll go hide too. Besides I have the president with me.”

“Ah..yes but please be safe.”

“I will.”

Cale seemed to have convinced Eric as he followed after Amiru

and Gilbert quietly.

‘Since he’s here, might as well use him.’

Cale thought as the only one left in the cafeteria were him, Alberu
and the workers.

“Let’s leave too.”

Cale said walking out.

Alberu had a lot of things to say but held himself back seeing the
situation and nodded.

Cale made sure the chef had locked the door to the cafeteria
before turning towards Alberu.

“You’re a good leader.”

Cale sco ed at that.

“Anyone can do what I did.”

‘Not really..’

Alberu thought inwardly.

“But not many step up like you did.”

Cale turned to look at him with annoyance and grumbled under his
breath.

“Stepped up because it was annoying…”

Of course Alberu heard it.

but they’re still as sharp as ever. Plus….that hellish training wasn’t

The second years soon came back with Choi Han in the lead.

“The Main gate has been barricaded and the third years are going
around closing any openings to the building Cale nim.”

“Well done. The rest messaged me just now, they have also

Cale informed the second years present with him among which
were some famous ones like Witira, Choi han, Alberu, Litana,

“Ah right has anyone got in touch with the principal?”

Choi han asked.

They can’t contact anyone because of the network problem.

“Miss Rosalyn went to inform them. She should be back any

minute.”

Just as Cale said that, Rosalyn was seen sprinting towards them.

‘How can she run that fast in those heels???’

Cale thought to himself.

“Bad news! The principal’s o ce and teacher’s lounge are locked

from the inside!! The intruders seem to have a magic barrier to
prevent them from getting out!!”

She had used her own magic to get rid of the network problem but
the disruption was too strong for her to mess with.
“I tried to break the barrier with magic but it seems like another
power is mixed with that magic..but I can’t gure out what it is.”

“You’re a mage?”
Cale asked in surprise to the contemplating Rosalyn.

“Ah that’s right. I’ve taken magic research as my major here.”

She sweat dropped.

“I see.”
Although Cale was shocked he quickly drifted his focus back to the
issue at hand and addressed his seniors.

“The authorities should have already been noti ed of the

commotion here since the alarm went o on the campus.They
should be here soon.”

‘Although she messaged me that they have started moving, I didn’t

expect them to do this in broad daylight.’

Cale then spoke calmly.

“We just need to hold on until help arrives.”

“…Right.”
Alberu said with a sheepish expression as he knew the thoughts of
his fellow team members right now.

‘Even if they do come we can just fuck them up.’

As he was thinking along the same lines.
