1. What do you understand by sustainable development?
2. Mention and explain any two factors that cause population change.
3. Mention any two chemical indicators of soil quality.
4. Differentiate between immigration and emigration.
5. Mention any two disadvantages of macro- irrigation.
6. Explain any two ways by which a country can acquire carbon credits.
7. Write the full form of each of the following:
(i) GATT
(ii) IPR
8. Define Toxic waste trade.
9. Differentiate between insitu and exsitu wildlife conservation
10. Define carrying capacity. State any two factors that determine the
carrying capacity of an ecosystem.

and any two factors that affect the death rate in the human

Explain how Gandhian approach can affect the present growing
population of a particular place. [4]
