Euthanasia is a method of the process of “eliminating” one’s life in a painless manner,

usually done due to someone suffering from an incurable, painful disease; putting them
out of their misery. Some may agree or disagree with the methods of euthanasia as it is
made by choice, but it has some ethical concerns. As the idea of euthanasia does have
its pros and cons due to the nature of its existence.

When we think of euthanasia, the thought of “does someone with that feels hopeless in
recovering have the right to decide how and when they should end their suffering?” as it
really is the main proponent when euthanasia comes into mind. There are also people
that expresses their thoughts saying, that “their body, their choice”. In the perspective of
morality, it can be said that it’s something that is wrong but when we put ourselves in
the position of those people that considers this option we cannot blame them as well.
Thus, such an action is considered morally acceptable because it is not intended to
cause the patient's death. However, one can seriously question whether there is a moral
distinction between giving a patient medications specifically to cause his death and
giving a patient drugs to relieve his suffering with the knowledge that doing so will result
in death. "What is true of morals is true of law. There is no legal difference between
desiring or intending a consequence as following from your conduct, and persisting in
your conduct with the knowledge that the consequence will inevitably follow from it,
though not desiring that result."Taking responsibility for one's actions entails accepting
responsibility for any foreseeable consequences of those actions.
