Luzon’s Great Protector

Sierra Madre also known as the “backbone of Luzon”, is the largest mountain range in the
Philippines. Spanning over 540 kilometers, it runs from the province of Cagayan down to the province of
Quezon, forming a north-south direction of the eastern proportion of Luzon.

This mountain range is a natural shield that helps protect people from typhoons in the
Philippines especially Luzon. When strong winds and heavy rain coming from typhoon, the Sierra Madre
slows them down so people don’t hurt them as much. Without it, storms could be even scarier and
cause more damages.

Sierra Madre is often seen as a guardian too because it provides a home for many plants,
animals and community. Some of them like the Philippine Eagle, can only be found here. The trees and
rivers in the Sierra Madre give food, water and shelter to people and animals. It also keeps it air clean
and weather nice.

Protecting the Sierra Madre is not just an environmental responsibility but a national priority by
conserving this, vital mountain range, safeguard our people, preserve its rich biodiversity and ensure a
sustainable future for generations to come.
AI: Pros and Cons
Artificial intelligence (AI) is bringing a big change to education with both good and bad sides. It
offers great benefits, like personalized learning and helping teachers save time. However, there are also
challenges, such as losing human connection in the classroom and concerns about fairness and privacy.

One major advantage of AI is that it can personalize learning for each student. AI tools can figure
out what a student is good at and where they need help, adjusting lessons to match their needs. This
makes learning easier and more fun. AI also helps teacher by taking care of tasks like grading, giving
them more time to focus on their students.

But there are disadvantages too in using AI. Like students might rely too much on it for answers,
instead of thinking by themselves. AI can’t teach everything a teacher can, like how to solve a problem in
a creative way or understand a student’s feeling. Also, AI tools can collect a lot of information about
students and that information needs to be kept safe.

In the end, tools like ChatGPT and MetaAI can be very helpful for learning, but they should be
use carefully and correctly. AI can be a good helper, but we still need teachers to guide us and make
sure we are learning the right way. It’s important to use AI to support learning but not to replace the
teacher.
